    COMPROMISE AGREEMENT

    Private Complainant and Accused, to this Honorable Court,


    most respectfully enter into a Compromise Agreement under the
    following terms and conditions:

    1. That private offended party, MR. DO REY MI, through the


    Private Prosecutor during the Trial on August 17, 2022 before
    this Honorable Court, signified his willingness to execute an
    Affidavit of Desistance with regard to the prosecution of this
    case in view of the opening of classes on August 22, 2022 and
    his expected teaching load and busy schedule;

    2. That the accused, finding the willingness of private offended


    party to execute an Affidavit of Desistance favorable to him,
    expressed his gratefulness to the private offended party, and
    in consideration thereof, manifested to no longer pursue any
    other legal remedies with regard to the denial of the Motion
    for Reconsideration for the Cyberlibel Case which he filed
    against the private offended party;

    3. That both private offended party and the accused, considering


    that they both work in the same school and practically spend
    most of their waking hours in the same community, mutually
    agree to forgive each other for the deeds and acts that they
    might have committed against each other, to live peacably
    and in harmony with each other, and to forget about their
    disputes, differences, and misunderstandings; and
    4. That both private offended party and the accused promised to
    desist from doing any act, directly or indirectly, personal or
    otherwise, that may affect the honor, reputation, and person
    of either of them and/or prejudice their individual rights.

    Dipolog City, August 19, 2022.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto mutually and voluntarily


    agreed to the above stipulations and sign this Agreement this 19 th day of
    August 2022, for the consideration and approval of the Honorable Court.
