Modifications Implemented for MicroLab 5.6

General
Model Import provides the ability to import .a2q models created in MicroLab Expert to CFR
databases via MicroLab Quant.
*.a2q models are now available in components methods in MicroLab.
Microlab PC and Lite now have the ability to export as a *.csv file in addition to the *.spc and *.asp
formats. Access this feature using the Export button on the Previous Results screen and the Data
Handling screen.
Report templates can now incorporate a peak picking table. Peaks can be selected and the peak
values appear in the table in order of lowest to highest wavenumber.
The peak labels no longer obstruct the traces and are now correctly removed when collecting new
data.
Right-clicking to access the Stack/Overlay context menu now displays the correct menu. The
spectra legend also now remains visible.
Right-click on the ‘Current Sample’ and ‘Select Library Hit’ spectra from a Qualitative Search to
access the Peak Picking/Labeling context menu now displays the correct menu. Labels are now
applied to the ‘Current Sample’ rather than the ‘Select Library Hit’ spectra.
The zoomed traces are now displayed in the report if the “ZoomedSpectrumOverlaid.docx” report
template is selected.
Residuals workflow has been modified to ensure all changes in a CFR environment are saved as
new files.
Users now have the option to overwrite or save as a new file when performing residuals.

Cary 630 with Diamond ATR, Ge ATR, and 1-Bounce ZnSe ATR
The ATR Resolution Test method for European Pharmacopeia 9.7 Edition is now available in
MicroLab.

Cary 4500/5500 with Diamond ATR and the 3-Bounce ATR

The ATR Resolution Test method for European Pharmacopeia 9.7 Edition is now available in
MicroLab.

Residuals function now generates an Audit trail entry.
Unique file names are now enforced when using the Residual feature.
In MicroLab Quant, when importing non CFR models into a CFR environment the Audit trail entries
and report details are now populated with relevant metadata.
System Check Methods database has been updated to include the ATR Resolution Test method.
The ‘Filename of Data’ file path and file name in the OQ report now displays correctly.
