Either you are a basketball fan or just simply otaku, Ahiru No Sora Season 2 is something you would
want to watch. It is an anime series about sports, drama and school life.

Ahiro No Sora is a Japanaese manga series from the creative minds of Takeshi Hinata. He is the writer

has already released 50 volumes. In addition, Diomedea adapted the anime television series which
premiered in October 2019. It is written by Go Zappa and Keizo Kusakawa as the director.
Ahiru No Sora focuses on the life of Sora Kurumatani, a 15 year- old student with a height of 149 cm.
Although he is not tall enough for a typical basketball player, he still dreams to be a famous professional
star someday. Besides, in his junior high school, he has an excellent record in basketball. Thus, it inspired
him to continue playing basketball in Senior high school. However, it wasn’t an easy journey as he enters
Kuzuryu High School.
Before entering high school, Sora promised his mother that he will dominate his first high school
tournament. However, when he joined the basketball club in Kuzuryu High School, he found out that the
team is made up of punks, and unmotivated players. Moreover, they didn’t take him seriously because
of his height. They thought that he is useless. Furthermore, he found out that some members of team
like Chiaki and Momoharu Hanazuno brothers lost their interest in playing basketball. Chiaki even told
Sora to stop playing and forget about his dreams.
But, this didn’t disappoint Sora instead he became more determined. He challenged the team to play
against him. He showed them his skills and extra ordinary movements. And the team was shocked but at
the same time impressed. As a result, the team gradually became interested again in playing basketball
because of the skills, effort and passion that Sora showed them. Likewise, Sora gained friends in the
team.

Kuzuryu High is located in Kawasaki Kanagawa District. It is known to have a weak basketball team
because only stubborn student join the team.
The Players:
Sora Kurumatani- He is the main character of the series with an excellent skill in basketball. His catch
phrase is “If you make fun of me being small, you’ll have to pay for it.”
Momoharu Hanazono- At first, he is stubborn and does not believe about his basketball skills. Likewise
he has superiority complex and feels responsible of the basketball court. But it fits his position as the
team captain.
Chiaki Hanazono- He is the twin brother of Momoharu, but his personality is opposite from his brother.
He shows kindness and care to others but does not care much about basketball. But, he plays basketball
in any position.
Kaname Shigeyoshi- He is the tallest player in the team. Technique is more important to him more than
physical ability
Kenji Natsume- He is a first year student who always causes trouble but he is the main scorer for the
team.
Yasuhara Shinichi, Masahiro Saki, and Ryuuhei Nabeshima are the substitute players and also showcase
their own basketball talent in defense or offense.
Ahiro Nu Sora caught the attention of not only anime fans but mostly Basketball enthusiast. It is a new
series since it just premiered late last year. As a manga adaptation, Ahiru No Sora has a total of 50
episodes. And the studio releases each episode every week. Since its release in October 2019, it has
already released 45 episodes. Therefore, there are 5 more episodes to look forward. Actually, episode
45 was just shown last August 26, 2020.
Thus, is Ahiru No Sora still ongoing? Of course! In fact, episode 46 will be released on September 2,
2020. It’s just around the corner right. And the anime series will have its season 1 finale on September

announced in his twitter account that manga series is in its final arc.
The episode 43 of Ahiru No Sora Season 1 adapted the manga series chapter 122 of volume 16. Thus,
the ratio between manga chapter and anime series episode is around 3 is to 1. Therefore, the episode
50 of the anime series will end with chapter 141 of volume 18.
That means there are more chapters to cover Ahiru No Sora Season 2. Besides, it can be stretched up to
season 3 or 4.
However, there is no official announcement yet for the sequel of Ahiru No Sora Season 1.
When is the Release Date of Ahiru No Sora Season 2?
The production of Ahiru No Sora anime series is planned to be out every year. So, if the broadcast
continues without delay, it is possible that Ahiru No Sora Season will be out in October 2020. On the
other hand, if production encounters some problem, we can expect that Ahiru No Sora Season 2 might
be released in 2021.
However, as of the moment, the creators of the anime series did not make any confirmation yet about
the possible release date for Ahiru No Sora Season 2.
