10 Minute School is Bangladesh's largest online teaching platform. On their application and website,
nearly two million students have been operated and taught for free since 2015. In mid-2014, Ayman
Sadiq founded 10minute school. 10-minute school, which was initially largely self-funded, did not have a
website, so only educational infographics were available to its students. They started by making video
tutorials in math and English, and then they started taking live Facebook classes. The 10-minute school
covered the entire Academic program from Class 1 to Class 12, as well as university admission topics and
extensive software and skills training, which included subjects for public and private university
examinations. While finding a suitable sponsor was one of the company's main challenges at the time,
the company was later supported by telecoms operator Robi Axiata Limited and the Department of Post,
Telecommunications, and Information Technology. By September 2020, they have produced over 1,300
blogs, 1114+ Smart Books, 49530+ quizzes, and 1114+ video lessons on the website. Among many other
awards some of the most prestigious awards received by Ayman Sadiq are won the Queen's Young
Leaders Award 2018, which recognizes exceptional young people from across the Commonwealth. He

countries working to build and enhance a mutually cooperative network to promote ICT. And recently
Ayman Sadiq has been recognized as Under 30 - Asia - Social Entrepreneurs by Forbs Magazine.
7ps and business strategy: There were several strategies and factors they had been considering
for them when they were about to launch an organization along with the way they have used 7ps of
market mix is very impressive.
Product: Their main product is digital content creation. it teaches nearly two million students for free
through its app and website. It has already created 19,000+ video tutorials, 50,000+ Quizzes,
1,350+smartbooks and 1,139 live classes which are available on its platform. 10minute School has
already covered all textbook contents of class 1-12 through its video tutorials. It provides e-training,
e-learning services and plans to launch e-books, premium courses.
Place: Their product is not any feasible product that means the online is their market place. 10minute
School Bangladesh's leading online educational platform. It has been planned to create a platform online
where people could get much needed support for the local courses in the country.
Price: The most interesting part of 10minute school is they are offering their products free. Initially, their
main revenue generator was YouTube which is not very profitable and a bit slow process. The founder
Ayman Sadiq started the start up without any sponsorship or funding. So, it was really difficult to
continue with self-funding and little revenue from YouTube. However, Collaboration with Robi Axiata Ltd
and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, provided them with a stable funding
program that they desperately needed to keep 10 Minute School running. In addition, they use google
add cent to their user traffic and some premium courses to generate revenue.
Promotion: They used contents marketing from the start, which meant they created educational
contents that students would find useful. Because the audience began sharing the content on their own,
there was never a need to spend money on advertising. However, they use some online marketing like
Facebook advertising, google business and YouTube as low-cost, high-impact way to reach almost any
audience. Which enable them to target a specific audience based on factors such as location, interests,
age, sex, online behavior, and many others.
People: Basically, the true users of 10-minute school are the deprived and distant Students and young
learners of the country. Ayman Sadiq came across a large number of students who couldn't afford to pay
their tuition fees. Many of them were unable to travel from other parts of Bangladesh to Dhaka. He
began to think about how he could overcome these two challenges, which were primarily economic and
geographical in nature. As a result, he came up with the concept. And now they have almost 2 million
subscribers alone with 2000+ visitor per day.
Physical Evidence: 10minuteschool.com is their online web portal. All kinds of lectures videos, note and
hand outs are available there. They have also launched their mobile application software in Google play
store. Moreover, they have published various books and notes which is available in library and stationary
stores besides online.
Process: When they were sure it was pretty feasible, they explored a number of options in 2014, such as
going to professional software companies for the development of their product. One of these companies
only took six months to realize that they couldn't shoot it! Finally, they have been working with few
friends on some basic web development and begun working on building the website right from the
ground up. Abyad Raied is mentioned in particular. He's a BUET junior, and he has built his whole website
in two months. Finally, they had covered up all foundations of 10-minute school.
SWOT- analysis on 10-minute school
Strength: Basically, the main strength of 10-minute school are the keen and curious Students and young
learners of the country. Though online class and lectures is a new concept in our country but still there
are few strong advantages of it. As every student can get same quality of education even after living in a
remote location or financial issues. Their lectures are up loaded on line so, any one goes through the
videos aging and again based on their needs. As the courses are free it helps more and more students to
educate and develop the total education rate of the country. Therefore, 10-minute school has a strong
value proposition towards the whole nation.
Weakness: The main weakness is that not every child can afford to manage IT supports and facilities
which makes a barrier for the company to reach its ultimate goal, educate everyone. However, after
collaboration with ICT division of Bangladesh they are able to reach a large number of audiences with
the help of government.
Opportunities: Actually, there are endless opportunities for an online education platform like 10 minute
school in Bangladesh. the online education system is comparatively new in this country but already is has
received many appreciations and positive reviews. Students are keen to know more and lots of students
and learners are yet to join 10-minite school.
Threats: As it is mainly an online base platform its prone to cyber-attacks. So, handling different kinds of
cyber securities and maintaining online rules are regulations is a challenging part for the company.

“Start working on your fear of failure. Most of us don’t even try implementing our ideas because we are
so worried about what other people will think of us. Be the change that you want to see.
If you are looking for immediate success, this route is probably not for you. You really need to have the
passion and commitment for the idea, and the understanding that you are in it for the long haul. When it
comes to startups, it’s a given that you will fail; you need to learn from those failures, and move past
them to continue building upon your idea.
By the time you move past break-even and start making profit, your friends working corporate jobs will
already be earning substantially more. At the end of the day, the odds are pretty high, but stay
committed, and you just might make it through!”
