5. A wire of length 45 m is used to make the edges of a cube with volume 27 m3 and a
square with a surface area of 4 m2. Find the length of wire remained.
6. The volume of a cube is 216 cm3. What is the surface area of one face of the cube?
7. A cubic container is fully filled with 5 832 cm3 of water. If 1 296 cm3 of the water is
used, find the height, in cm, of water left in the container.
8. A square picture has an area of 196 cm2. Calculate the area, in cm2, of the picture in
a frame if 1 cm of each side has been covered by the frame.
9. Given that the square of 8.75 is 76.6, determine the square of 0.0875 without using
a calculator.

a calculator.
11. Given that the square root of 0.7777 is 0.88, determine the square root of 77.77
without using a calculator.
12. Cube A with a volume of 250 cm have the sides length of 6.3 cm. Find side length
cube which is 1000 times the volume of Cube A.
13. Given that the square of 25.3 is 640. Without using a calculator find the value,
√640 + √64 + √6.4 + √0.64
