Extra Review

Optional. Cut out the cards from the Picture

Dictionary or print out the corresponding flashcards
from our Sports & Athletes flashcard sections:
https://esllibrary.com/flashcard_genres/7/flashcard_categories

Tape one card to each student’s back. Have students walk around
the class trying to guess what they are playing or doing. The other
students have to give them hints by telling them what they are
wearing or using, or what rules they have to follow.

Students are not allowed to use the word in the sport. If Student A
has a soccer player on her back, Student B can’t say “Don’t forget
your soccer ball.” She can say, “Don’t use your hands today!” The
first three students to guess correctly get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

If you have a large number of students, print out extra copies of the
cards. Tell students they have to find their teammates.
