Making South Africa a beacon of hope by providing our youth and community with the
opportunities and skills to realize their full potential and purpose. Ensuring members of our
society become empowered to make a difference.

Our Mission

Lesedi la Batho is a Christian faith-based non-governmental organisation that seeks to inspire,

empower, motivate, engage and equip the youth and the community at large through sport,
education, skills training and social enterprise development, community wellness and arts &
culture.

2011. To uplifting the unemployed youth and vulnerable women in the underserved
community.

2.5 The greatest challenge for Lesedi La Batho is, like many other organisations, the lack of access to

they need, but very few are willing to support the salaries of the human workforce required to
enable such projects.

our beneficiaries regarding career guidance, job vacancies, learnerships, internships and bursaries,
with the vision to reduce unemployment in our area

Social Enterprise Development - Through our Social Enterprise Development initiatives, we

strive to be a catalyst for social entrepreneurship in Mabopane.

2.9 At Lesedi la Batho, we love working with volunteers! By bringing fresh perspectives, ideas
and skill sets into our organisation, we can expand and strengthen our impact for the
community. We believe in mutually beneficial volunteering - its not only about what a
volunteer contributes, it’s also about what you gain and learn, so we’re excited to welcome
you to the family.
2.10 There are not many activities for the youth there are mostly based on adults.
