    MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ON CLEAN AND GREEN


    PROGRAM
    EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE 1st REGULAR MEETING OF THE 2020
    SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN MEETING, HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL, LAYA
    WEST, TABUK CITY, KALINGA, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2020.

    This Agreement is made and entered among:


    The SK Officials, represented by the SK Chairman, JERIC MACOCAY, hereinafter
    referred to as “SK-LAYA WEST”;
    The DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION –PANTAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL,
    NORTHERN TABUK DISTRICT II, DIVISION OF TABUK CITY, a school of the
    Department of Education, with office address at Pantar, Laya West, Tabuk City,
    represented herein by the School Head, JUDY S. GALLARDO, hereinafter referred
    to as “PANTAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL”; -and-
    WITNESSETH THAT:
    WHEREAS, all parties are aware of the problem on continuous waste in the
    surroundings.

    WHEREAS, all parties recognize the urgent need to address the problems
    encountered by the school and community regarding increasing wastes scattered
    and the lack of waste management PRACTICE.

    WHEREAS, Pantar Elementary School, entered into a Memorandum of Agreement


    that commits both parties in setting up a CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAM; this
    refers to the program that BOTH SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN and the School,
    headed by the School-Head will work together for the said program.

    WHEREAS, the SK will provide some Cleaning materials and free labor to teachers
    of PANTAR ES to be used in the implementation of the said program- CLEAN AND
    GREEN PROJECT.

    WHEREAS, SK has manifested its commitment to support the implementation of the


    said project as one of the priority program by the Department of Education in
    connection to Brigada-Eskwela Program.
    WHEREAS, there will be YOUTH participation and involvement to ensure the active
    participation of youth in community development and progress, the school shall
    ensure their full participation in different special bodies, committees and the like.
    WHEREAS, SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN will spearhead the implementation of a
    CLEAN and GREEN PROJECT in Pantar Elementary School and in the Community;

    NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties
    hereby agree to establish, operate, and implement A Clean and Green and bind
    Republic of the Philippines
    Department of Education
    Cordillera Administrative Region
    SCHOOLS DIVISION OF TABUK CITY
    City Hall Compound, Dagupan, Tabuk City

    themselves to the terms and conditions stated hereunder.

    Description:
    The Clean and Green is a project of Pantar Elementary School to be led by the
    teachers that envisioned to provide conducive school environment and a community
    that is better to live in through maintaining the cleanliness in this new normal. And
    educate every member of the community to become responsible of their own
    garbage.
