EMCEE SCRIPT

JAZPEARL: Commencement –/ is a French word /which means /beginning.


Today,/ we are celebrating / the 5th SHS Commencement Exercises with
the theme:/ K to 12 Graduates: /Pursuing dreams / and fostering
resilience / in the face of adversity. Commencement exercises / is also a
graduation which means/ It’s not the end,/ rather/ it is the beginning.
The new journey of our grade 12 students / commenced / today.

GREAMAE: This day/ is full of joy,/ pride /and accomplishments./ Even


pandemic /cannot stop this momentous celebration. This is /the much
awaited event / of every graduating student,/ as it gives the returns to
the efforts put in / by the students, / parents,/ guardians, / teachers and
administration / throughout / their academic endeavors.

JAZPEARL: My respect and courtesy/ to our Schools Division Superintendent,


/Sir Leonardo M. Balala, CESE,/ sir./ To our Education Program
Supervisor for Alternative Learning System (ALS),/ Ma’am Fatima A.
Maaya,/ ma’am. /To our dear Secondary School Principal, / Sir Abas S.
Dollente,/ Masters Teachers / and Department Heads of different
subject areas,

GREMAE: Teachers and staffs,/ beloved parents / and to our dear


graduands/, ladies and gentlemen,/ a magnificent afternoon to all of us.
GREMAE & JAZPEARL: Welcome/ to the 5th/ Senior High School /
Commencement Exercises!

JAZPEARL: To formally start our program, / may I request everyone/ to please


stand/ for the singing of our National Anthem/ to be conducted by
Ma’am Ferry Jane Bartolome – grade 12 adviser.
GREMAE: This is followed / by the singing of Doxology by the graduates /
with the song entitled/ “I see you Lord”/, the singing of our Regional
Hymn,/ Sultan Kudarat Hymn / and Bambad National Hymn/ via
overture.

JAZPEARL: You may now be seated.


At this juncture, / may I call on/ Sir Gerard A. Jullar, SHS Focal
Person and assistant to the principal/ to give us/ his Opening remarks.
Around of applause please.

GREMAE: Thank you sir! / To welcome everyone to this momentous event,/


let’s hear / Nikki Mae Hecara, /STEM student and With High Honors / for
her welcome address.

JAZPEARL: Thank you Nikki. / Now / the most significant moment of this
graduation ceremony / has come. / May I call in /Sir Abas S. Dollente,
our School Principal / for presentation of the candidates / for
graduation. / This is to be followed by/ the acceptance and confirmation
of the graduates/ by sir Leonardo M. Balala, our schools Division
Superintendent, /represented by Maam Fatima A. Ma-aya,/ Education
Program Supervisor for ALS.

GREMAE: Congratulations graduates! / At this juncture, / may I request


Ma’am Fatima A. Maaya, /Education Program Supervisor for ALS, /and
Sir Abas S. Dollente, /our School Principal /to please remain on the
center stage/ for the awarding of Honors/ to our students /who have
shown academic excellence/ during modular /and face to face classes.

JAZPEARL: Hats off /awardees, truly/ hard works /pay off.


At this point, / let us lend all ears to Fritz Ann Lanciso, /With High
Honors, /as she gives her appreciation message. /A big hand please.
GREMAE: Thank you /for that heart-warming message, Fritz.
And now,/ may I call on sir Alvin P. Garcia, Teacher II,/ to
introduce our Keynote Speaker.

JAZPEARL: What an inspiration you are,/ Ma’am Gracel.


Next,/ let us request/ Jona Rose Eraldo, With High Honors/ to lead
the graduates/ for the pledge of loyalty.

GREMAE: This time, /let us witness the graduates /as they sing a graduation
song entitled /“Wherever I go”/ by Hannah Montana.

JAZPEARL: Finally,/ let us hear a Closing message from Sir Abas S. Dollente,
Secondary School principal I. / Around of applause please.

GREMAE: Thank you sir! … /Our program has finally come to an end.

JAZPEARL: To the graduates,/ pursue your dreams /and foster resilience /as
you face adversities in life. /Live the dreams and aspirations of your alma
mater, / have positive attitude, / be grateful to your parents,
/teachers /and friends,/ persevere /and always ask the guidance and
wisdom of the Almighty/ as you strive/ to reach your dreams in life./
