to causal wear. No matter how well designed a blouse, it will not be satisfying
if it’s does not contribute to the physical comfort of the wearer. Necklines,
pocket and sleeves are parts of the garment often used to accentuate
attractive features of the body and hide the unflattering ones.

TOPIC – PLAN GARMENT DESIGN

A dressy item of clothing worn on the top of the body, mainly by girls
or women, is sometimes called a blouse. Today, women wore blouses with
skirts or pants. There are several designs of blouses that have been
fashionable throughout the years. It symbolizes the unique taste and
personality of a person depending on how it looks good. The designs of
blouses should simple but yet elegant but then you have to consider your
personality and body type.
Here are some designs of blouses:
Halter Neck Blouse Design

Button-Down Blouses Design
Button-down blouses are popular because their style
can be worn by many body types and in various
settings. The button-down style is seen mostly in
formal and business settings; it complements dress
pants and business suits. However, when worn with a
pair of jeans or shorts, button-down blouses are

Wrap Blouses Design

A wrap blouse is another great style for most body
types and features a surplice collar, which overlaps
fabric into a v-shaped neckline. This vertical neckline
gives the appearance of a longer torso. The
crisscrossed material breaks up the chest and the
stomach area -- making the upper body seem smaller
than it might actually be. Surplice wrap blouses are
made with or without sleeves.

tunics can dress up jeans and give you a
fun, modern look.

Asymmetric blouse style
Asymmetrical blouse style in which one side
is not the same as the other. As the name says
it all, it suits every body shape and size if you
know what style or what pattern suits you
and where it reaches the awkward stage.

One Hand blouse

One hand blouse adds a stylish desire to your
outfit and gives you an elegant and
sophisticated look This design of blouse suits
almost all the body type but it is perfect for a
tall or medium height woman with the toned
shoulder.

The suggested factor is to add up a quirky
element you could do V neck and try out different
hemlines. This style is surely here to stay for long
period of time. Have this style in your wardrobe if
you are social butterfly and style conscious.

Cape Design Blouse

A cape is a sleeveless outer garment,
which drapes the wearer’ back, arms
and chest and fastens at the neck. It
can be used for fashion purposes. The
flow and dreamy style of appeal gives a
charismatic charm.

Ruffled Blouse
The ruffled blouse utilizes ruffles as trimmings. The
ruffles may be simple and may flow down the front of
the blouse, on the ends of the sleeves or at the
neckline. This looks great with a pair of jeans and
heels.
