Subject Welcome to my pool party

Hi Eddie, 1

I’m glad to hear you’re coming to my pool party at half past two on Saturday afternoon.
That’s great news! Our swimming pool is outside, so remember to bring your sunglasses and
some sunscreen. You don’t need to bring a towel – you can use one of ours.

Everyone must bring a dish to share. Bob’s dad owns a shop, so he’s providing the drinks. 5
Those are free, of course. And Ken’s mum is baking her delicious chocolate cake. That’s my
favourite! Bill and Sandy are also making a cake, but theirs is a strawberry cheesecake. Warn
everyone that Jimmy is making beef curry. Do you remember his spaghetti last year? I’m
still trying to forget! My mum might order some pizza because I’m worried there won’t be
enough food. Is this a good idea? 10

To get to my place, take the MTR to Quarry Bay. Let’s meet at the bus stop near Exit A.
We’ll then go along Grey Road and then straight through the park – this is the fastest way to
my house. Call me on 2587 7799 if you get lost.

See you at 2p.m.!
