slices. How many slices is that altogether?

2. Beth has 4 packs of crayons. Each pack has 10 crayons in it. She also
has 6 extra crayons. How many crayons does Beth have altogether?

3. Ted has 15 candy bars. He wants to put them into 5 bags so there are
the same number of candy bars in each bag. How many candy bars
should go in each bag?

4. A candy store has 6 boxes of chocolates. Each box has 500 pieces.
How many pieces are there altogether in the 6 boxes?

5. You want to share 34 pencils among 6 friends. How many would each
friend get?

Answers

1. 5 x 4 = 20
There are 20 slices.

2. 4 x 10 = 40. Then 6 extra make 40 + 6 = 46


She has 46 crayons.

3. 15 ÷ 5 = 3
3 should go in each bag.

4. 6 x 500 = 3000
There are 3000 pieces.

5. 34 ÷ 6 = 5 with 4 left over.


Each friend gets 5 pencils.
