Agenda: Articulation of Students Skills across Grade Levels


Date: July 8, 2019
Venue: MCSS Library
Time: 9:00 AM

The meeting started at 9:10 a.m. thru an opening prayer and followed by singing of PambansangAwit
led by Ms. May Sheila S.Agad.

Mr. Clevient John Lasala presented the proposed plan for the Articulation of Curriculum of Student
Skills across different levels. As the presentation went on, one teacher asked if there are outputs have the same
or related into one skill either in English or Filipino the performance task is made be fused to one.

Therefore the teacher were agreed the proposals for the said orientation of curriculum of students skills.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 in the morning.

MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Morning: Grade 7 and 8 Parents - 9:00am to 11:30am
Afternoon: Grade 9 and 10 Parents - 2:30pm to 4:30 pm
August 9, 2020 (Sunday)
Morning: Grade 11 and 12 Parents - 10:00am to 11:50am

Agenda:
1. Parents’ Orientation and Consultation Meeting of Mt. Carmel School of Siargao, Inc. (MCSS) Alternative Mode of
Delivery for the Opening of School Year 2020-2021; and
2. Other matters.
I. Roll Call and Determination of Quorum
Mr. Ingiebert E. Sulapas is requested to act as the temporary secretary to take the minutes of the meeting. Mr.
Sulapas disclosed that 85% or majority of the parents are present.
The acting Secretary declared the quorum.
II. Call to Order
The Presiding Chair at the same time School Principal, Ms. Arsenia B. Go called the meeting to order by which Grade
7 and 8 Parents at 9:05am; Grade 9 and 10 Parents at 2:35pm (Saturday) then, Grade 11 and 12 Parents at 10:05am
(Sunday).
III. Adoption of the Agenda
The agenda was move to adopt by Mr. Gil (Parent) and seconded by Mrs. Toldo (Parent), without any objection.
IV. New Business
 Parents’ Orientation and Consultation Meeting of Mt. Carmel School of Siargao, Inc. (MCSS) Alternative
Mode of Delivery for the Opening of School Year 2020-2021.
The Presiding Chair presented the School Continuity Plan together with her co-teachers Mr. Edmar D. Polvoroza –
the Senior High School (SHS) Academic Coordinator and Mr. Clevient John D. Lasala –Junior High School (JHS) Academic
Coordinator. She asked everyone present on the meeting about their opinions, suggestions or motions about the plan which
contains the school’s preparation and preferred learning modality for the start of SY 2020-2021 as it is also then a
consultation for the parents and/or guardians who have attended the meeting.
Further discussions have been pointed as the meeting goes on. Below are some of the approved and duly consulted
to the parents of the institution’s preferred learning modality for the start of SY 2020-2021 to wit:

 Guidelines for Mode of Delivery


The teachers …
1. Undergo workshops and attend series of webinar on module making.
2. Prepare learning materials such as:
3. Course Outline- provides information on the content, the standards and the learning competencies for the parents
and students to be guided on the lesson and activities to be undertaken.
4. Learning Plans- serves as a guide of the teacher on the specific competencies to be taken by the students which
includes concepts notes and learning experiences.
5. Modules- contain activity sheets, discussions, quizzes and what students should do in a certain learning competency.
6. Provide other learning tools and materials if students wish to have a deeper understanding of the topic.
7. Produce the modules per student.
8. Distribute the learning materials to each barangay where students are located every Monday.
9. Conduct consultation on the subject matter to check the progress of the activities every Wednesday.
10. Get the answered activity sheets every Monday.

The students …
1. Receive the learning modules on the designated area duly assigned by the MCSS faculty.
2. Answer the learning modules effectively within the time-frame given.
3. Submit the learning modules every Monday.
4. Come up with a goal-setting, self-efficacy, self reflection and time management.

The Parent/Guardian …
1. May receive the learning modules in the absence of the learner.
2. Serves as the facilitators to their respective children.
3. Must ensure that learner finishes the learning modules within the time-frame given.
4. Provide assistance to the learner to ensure positive learning outcomes.

Guidelines for Home Learning


The students must imbibe the Carmelian Core Values (Excellence, Faith/Risk, Communitarian, Service/Vocation,
Compassion) by doing the following:
1. Prepare a conducive learning area.
2. Create a learning schedule to be guided.
3. Pray before and after answering the learning modules.
4. Answer the learning modules comfortably within his/her convenience.
5. Use of technology as a tool for answering learning modules.
6. Ask assistance to any family members and/or extended family in time of difficulty.
7. Utilize home-based materials or resources in the conduct of activities.

Guidelines for Assessment


Classroom assessment, namely, formative and summative assessments shall be conducted by the teachers to track
and measure learners’ progress and to adjust instruction accordingly. These shall be done through paper-based, offline or
online assessment format, whichever is appropriate to the context and needs of the learners, to enable them to participate
fully in the assessment process and be assessed fairly. The last two days of each academic quarter shall be devoted to the
administration of quarterly assessment. (Excerpt from the DepEd O R D E R NO 7 s. 2020, Guidelines no.21, p.5)

With nothing more to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 12:05pm for Grade 7 and 8 Parents; 5:15pm for Grade 9 and 10
(Saturday) and, Grade 11 and 12 Parents at 12:05pm (Sunday).
