    1. Introduction:
    Good morning and welcome to the clean, green and scenic surroundings of St.
    John Technical and Educational Campus Palghar. On behalf of the Campus, I,
    ………………., Asst. Professor of ………………, extend a warm welcome to all
    the budding engineers present here.
    Training and placement cell plays a vital role in shaping the career goals of
    students. It is the dream of every student to get placed in a reputed organisation.
    Keeping this key aspect into consideration, it is important for engineering students
    to enhance their employability skills and achieve good placement in reputed
    industries or organisations. Nowadays, everywhere there is a cut throat competition
    therefore, placement has become a challenging task. Training of students and
    equipping them with life skills has become important responsibility of the
    engineering institution. Along with technical expertise, development of holistic
    personality is necessary. To meet out this, a fully-fledged training and placement
    cell is operating in our college to enhance the capability of Engineering graduates
    at par with industry standards.
    Dear Students,
    The Department of First Year Engineering of SJCEM has organised expert lectures
    on Placement Preparedness. Today, we are very fortunate to have with us Mr
    Aldridge D’Souza Sir, the Trustee Member of Aldel Education Trust and Mr
    Namdev Patil Sir, TPO to guide and train you for getting suitable placement.

    2. Campus Prayer:
    It is a tradition in this Campus to begin every occasion by invoking the name of
    God. Hence, I request all of you to stand and join us for the Universal Prayer for
    Peace.
    3. Saraswati Vandana:
    Kindly remain standing as we play the Saraswati Vandana to seek blessings from
    the Goddess of
    wisdom.
    Please take your seats.

    I now request Mr. Aldridge D’Souza Sir to advise, guide and train all the budding
    engineers for getting dream careers in your future.

    Thank you, Sir for your thought-provoking ideas and fruitful guidance on this
    special subject.

    Now, I call Mr. Namdev Patil Sir, Training and Placement Officer of our
    college, to express his views and experience regarding placement so that students
    will get a clear idea about placement and the various industries that turn up at our
    campus for recruitment drives.
    Thank you, Sir, for your valuable guidance.
    4. Vote of thanks:
    It’s my privilege to propose a vote of thanks on this event. I,……………….on
    behalf of SJCEM, especially FE Team Members, extend a hearty vote of thanks to
    Mr. Aldridge D’Souza Sir for his perfect logistic guidance, valuable suggestions
    and motivation.
    I also extend my thanks to Mr. Namdev Patil Sir (TPO SJCEM) for his cooperation
    and constant support.
    Last but not the least, I thank FE HoD Mrs. Micheal Ammal Madam, all my
