1.INTRODUCTION:
Employee retention refers to ability of an organization to retain its
employees. Employee retention can be represented by simple statics. However many consider
employee retention as relating to the effort by which employers attempt to retain employee in their
workplace. In this sense, retention becomes the strategies rather than the outcome.
Employee retention is not just a matter that can be dealt with the
records and reports. It purely depends upon how the employers understand the various concerns of
the employees and how they help them resolve their problem, when they are in need. Every
organization spends time and invests money in grooming new employees and make them corporate
ready. The organization will be in complete loss, if such employee quit after they are fully trained. The
employee retention within the business plays a vital role in considering the rate of attrition within the
corporate as well.
2. INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRY:
The benefit of economic growth is reflected on the people in the
form of economic prosperity wherein individual enjoys the higher standard of living. It is here the
financial services enable an individual to acquire or obtain various consumer products through hire
purchase. In the process , there are a number of financial institutions which also earn profits. The
presence of this financial institutions is to promote investees. Financial services are the economic
services provided by the finance industry, which encompasses a broad range of businesses that
manage money, including credits unions ,banks, credit card companies, insurance companies,
accountancy companies, consumer-finance companies, stock brokerages, investment funds,
individual managers and some government-sponsored enterprises. Financial service companies are
present in all economically developed geographical location and tend to cluster in local, national ,
regional and international financial centers such as London , New York , Tokyo .
3. ORGANISATION PROFILE:
Hedge Equities Limited is an unlisted public company incorporated on
17 December, 2007. It is classified as a public limited company and is located in Mumbai City,
Maharashtra. It's authorized share capital is INR 15.00 cr and the total paid-up capital is INR 15.00 cr.

which are running successfully in the country. Hedge offers its customers a wide range of equity
related services including trade execution on BSE , NSE, derivatives, depository services, online
trading, investments advice etc.. The firm has an online trading and investment site

Primary data;
Primary data were collected through questionnaire. Questionaires were distributed to the selected
consumers.
SECONDARY DATA;
Secondary data were collected from magazines, newspapers, journals, websites and published data
of Hedge Equities.
The contacts with the employees were limited due to the pandemic
situation caused by Covid 19. The time available for this study is limited and hence it is not possible to
cover all the areas in full depth. The sample size of which is only a small portion compared to the total
