the depth and chipped area between the joints. ( to be done by main contractor )
h) For honeycomb, chipping and removing the loose concrete, filling
the chipped concrete with a non-shrinkage patch repair material with adding a bonding agent to the
mix to bond with existing concrete substrate. ( to be done by main contractor
1. After MEP and civil work finish his work and approved by the consultant, we get clearance to
start.
2. Concrete substrate must be clean, free from any oil, grease, etc.
3. In area where aggregate is exposed it is required to repair the exposed aggregate with cement
material or non-shrinkage cement material.
- Lightweight concrete Screed laid to falls and cross fall 1% (50mm) minimum thickness.
2. Supply and apply first layer of 4mm bituminous membrane supplied by, torch applied with
heating the surface of membrane to be fixed over the concrete substrate. Between layers, an
overlap of 100mm to be done to cover the joints between one layer and another in vertical and
horizontal area.
3. Supply and apply second layer of 4mm bituminous membrane supplied by, torch applied with
heating the surface of membrane to be fixed over the concrete substrate. Between layers, an
overlap of 100mm to be done to cover the joints between one layer and another in vertical and
horizontal area. The center of second layer membrane must be fixed over the joints of the first
layer.
1. Supply and apply single layer 50mm Thermal heat insulation board on top of membrane.
2. Supply and apply one layer of 200micron of plastic sheet or 200gr/m² non-woven geotextile as
separation layer under heat insulation.
3. Aluminum flashing 5cm will be fixed for termination and it will be close with
sealant.
