    W04 Application Activity: Learning Plan

    Name: Eva Paulina Martinez Orozco

    Overview
    This week, much of your Life Skill Lesson was focused on Learning Strategies and the power they have to improve your
    learning process. Your Application Activity this week will invite you to identify something about your learning that you
    might have a fixed mindset about-- something you fear might get in the way of your success in reaching your educational
    goals.

    You will then be invited to select one of the six Learning Strategies (i.e. acting on the promptings of the Holy Ghost,
    making your brain work hard, using distributed learning, creating clues, asking good questions, teaching to learn) or one
    of the five principles of the Learning Model (i.e. exercise faith, teach by the spirit, lay hold on the word of God, take
    action, and love, serve, and teach) that you learned about this week and use it to develop a Learning Plan designed to
    help you achieve your educational goals.

    Instructions
    In your W02 Application Activity, you had the opportunity to answer this question: Why am I enrolled in
    PathwayConnect? A natural follow-up to that question might be the following: What do I hope to achieve as a result of
    my enrollment in PathwayConnect?

    Part 1
    To complete the first part of this Application Activity, please fill in the chart below by answering the questions at the top
    of each column in the corresponding box below it.

    did you choose it?

    I wish to gain all the skills necessary I’m so insecure when speaking in I think the Learning Strategy will help
    to improve myself as a professional, public so the gatherings are helping me with this challenge is “Teach to
    to obtain the knowledge necessary so me but is still hard so I hope that with Learn” I’m sure if I push me to use
    I can growth my business and start every knowledge received and with this strategy more often I will be able
    new businesses. I also want to have the help from my teachers and God’s to lose my fear of speaking in public,
    to opportunity to study a degree in help I get to overcome this fear. and of course also is a great strategy
    BYU university. I thing that is the biggest thing that is to retain information.
    stopping me for growing as I know I
    can. And also one of the Principals that I
    think will be especially useful for my
    challenge is to TAKE ACTON, I’m
    always running away from any
    situation where I have to speak in
    public so I have to place faith in God
    and knowing that he will be helping
    me to get thru this once I decide to
    take action.

    1. How do you plan to apply the Learning Strategy or Learning Model principle you selected to your learning next
    week? What specific steps do you intend to take? (3-4 sentences)

    Well I’m already putting this in practice as at beginning of the curse I choose like the 13 th class to be the leader
    student and our teacher let us know that the week 5 was free I took action and I tell her I was able to do it so even if I’m
    really nervous about it I’m putting my best effort in preparing a good class and I’ve been praying for help and I have faith
    that God and Holly Ghost will give the strength to do it.

    2. How will you measure your success in that application (i.e. how will you know if you made progress toward
    reaching your overall goal)? (1-2 sentences)

    Well if I do not freeze it will be a huge progress, but I will also ask the feedback form my classmates and my
    teacher to know I did it.
