One Of Us Is Lying
So there’s this boy named Simon, and he’s kind of an asshole. He creates this website
where he exposed secrets pretty much all of the students in bayview high, especially the
ones that messes with him. one day, there are five students including simon that got
detention because someone slipped a phone to their backpacks even though they were
not allowed to bring phones during class(fyi the five of them didn’t know each other),
they were told by Mr. Holler (let’s just call him that cuz I forgot what’s his name lol) to
stay at the detention room and write something for 40-50 pages, simon got up and
blabbered about something when he should be doing his paper. He grabbed a cup and
drank from the tap water. Not long after, he started to choked and fell to the ground,
everybody thought he was just acting or being dramatic cause he’s a drama king, until
there was lots of foam coming out of his mouth. One of them immediately got some
teachers to helped him. The ambulance got to the school pretty quick, but not quick
enough to get him to the hospital cause he’s already dead by the time they got there.
Turns out there was someone who put peanut oil around the cup that simon used. And
so, the four students that were in the room with him obviously got in trouble even
though they did nothing. They all went through so many interrogations but none of
them were guilty, although Nate, one of the bayview four(that’s what they call the four
suspects) had a bad past related with drugs, and he was on probation. So everyone was
kinda suspicious of him. He went to jail, not because he killed simon but because
someone put all of the phones that were confiscated by Mr. Holler, plus some drugs and
something that kind of related to Simon’s death. So there’s only the three of them left
to solve this case, with the help of their attorneys of course. A few months later, Nate
got out of jail because Bronwyn (also one of the bayview four) got him out, cause
eventually they liked each other. While the bayview four and their attorneys still strive
to prove that they’re not guilty, other problems showed up. Their secrets one by one get
revealed by a similar app like the one Simon used to reveal people’s secret, but the
difference is they don’t know who’s behind this app. Addy the beauty, cheated on her
boyfriend’s best friend. Cooper the popular football player, turns out gay. Bronwyn the
brain, cheated on a big chemistry test. And Nate do drugs, well that’s not actually a
secret cause everyone in school knows he’s a drug dealer and also an addict. They all
found the dots, but couldn’t connect them because none of them are related to each
other. Fast forward, they knew who was behind all this, and its Simon. He arranged all of
this including his death, he also have a few people to help him carry on his plan even
after he’s dead. The peanut oil, the phones, the secrets, all of them are going as he
planned. Why did simon do all this? He’s depressed, he wanted to do suicides but by
dragging people into problems, to make them suffer and feel what he’s been feeling all
this time. What an asshole.
2. All the bright places

So this boy named Finch who’s depressed and has bipolar disorder but he doesn’t want
people to label him as the kid who has bipolar, cause he’s just Finch, and Finch is Finch.
There’s so much more interesting things about him that a lot of people don’t know of.
That day when he’s up on a ledge on the bell tower of his school, he met this girl named
violet who was also depressed and attempted suicide. He talked her out and saved her
life. And from that day he started to get closer to violet, even if she already had a
boyfriend. Violet lost her sister a few months ago in a car accident after she went to a
party with her, and after that, violet isn’t the same violet as she was before the accident.
The other day, finch and violet are in the same geography class and they were assigned
to do a project together. The project was to wander to some unique places in Indiana
where they live. The first destination they went to was the highest point of Indiana.
They went there by bikes because violet was not ready yet to ride a car. The place was
kind of ridiculous because its not high at all, it says 1,275 feet on a piece of rock that’s
embedded in the ground. And so many more weird but also fascinating and beautiful
places, its just a regular place if you look at it with your bare eyes. But finch, made violet
see things differently, he made her happy, happier than ever, happier than when she’s
with her boyfriend. Oh and they broke up once her boyfriend knew there was
something between her and the problematic boy at school, Finch. “problematic” as in
the weirdo and the freak boy at school that gets bullied. So fast forward finch and violet
are a thing now, they got into a fight on finch’s birthday that made her went home early
and never see him again since then. Since finch’s disappearance he often text her some
things that doesn’t even make sense. Its been a few weeks since he disappeared, violet
is obviously upset and not even worry anymore, but deep inside she’s dying to know
where he is and if he’s okay. So she started to think where he could be, and the first
thing that came to her mind was the blue hole, which was a deep deep hidden lake. She
drove to get there, Finch was the one that convinced her to try to drive again. Once she
arrived at the lake, she found nothing but his clothes that are neatly folded on a rock
and his boots with his mitten. Without thinking, she gets undressed and dive as far as
she could to find him, she goes back up to fill her lungs with some air and dive in again,
deeper this time and back up again and dive deeper again. She couldn’t find anything
except darkness that lays underneath the water. She gave up, called the police and not
long after the police came, she waited for the divers while shivering from the cold
because its winter. The thing the divers brought to the surface made her body stiff all of
the sudden, its like she couldn’t even feel her own heartbeat. It was a dead body, a
 bloated and blue body that has been there in the lake for hours. Mr. Finch was asked to
examine the body and yes, its Finch.
Fast forward, there was almost everyone from school that came to the funeral. They
were all just curious, they don’t actually care about him, they never did.
Because the project wasn’t finished yet, she had to wander all alone, without him. she
went to places that suddenly reminded her about the text that Finch sent her.
He was here.
He was here before her, he was here before that bloated blue body was found, he was
here without her, he was here and left something at each place for her. He loved her.

3. One Of Us Is Next
After the incident that happened 18 months ago, Bayview High doesn’t quite settle
down because another stupid game that was made by someone. Fast forward, there’s
this truth or dare game made by an Unknown number that’ll send a text to one of the
Bayview high student that followed by an option for them to choose truth or dare, if
they choose dare they have to do things that the unknown number told them. And if
they choose truth or doesn’t respond in 24 hours, a dark, ugly, juicy, secret will be
revealed and all of the students would know. The first player that got the text from
unknown was Phoebe. She ignored the text so that the next day her secret was a hot
topic everyone’s talking about in Bayview High, she hooked up with her sister’s ex-
boyfriend which doesn’t sound too bad because its her ex after all but like kind of
awkward? :/
And the next player fell to maeve, same thing with maeve, she didn’t respond to the
text so her secret was revealed the next day, maeve and knox were dating and the
secret says that maeve dumped knox because he couldn’t get it up lmao. But way before
that happened, they already broke up.
Now Brandon, he’s an asshole, he bullies everyone but he always takes the dare. It was
a silly dare at first but the second one turned deadly for him. the unknown number told
him to jump on to the roof of an unfinished construction, students usually use that path
as a shortcut, so he thought it would be just fine because people often go there too.
Turned out, its not. He died because someone took something off of that roof that was
supposed to hold his weight. He deserved it honestly :D
Maeve and knox were the one who put an end to this horrible game. They found out
that phoebe’s sister emma and her little brother owen who was a genius were behind all
of this.
At first its because emma was upset that her sister hooked up with her ex-boyfriend and
what makes her more furious is that she found out that her dad was killed because of a
careless 13 year old Brandon operating some kind of heavy machine and accidentally
 crushed emma’s dad with it. She wants to get revenge, so she sign in to the Vengeance
Is Mine forum where people can meet other people who wants to get revenge on
someone. In that forum, she met a guy named jared, his brother went to jail, his mom
committed suicide. He held grudge for Eli the lawyer for D’agustino case that his brother
involved in. At this point I feel like im retelling the whole story all over again which is not
what I meant to do TvT
Alright so emma stopped talking to jared after that truth or dare game but her little
brother hacked in to her account so now he’s the one that talk to jared, that’s why the
game still continues, if only owen didn’t hack emma’s account all of this wouldn’t
happen, well at least Brandon wouldn’t die but Eli would still be in danger. But
fortunately maeve and knox were fast enough to get rid of the bomb that jared planted
below a restaurant’s balcony where everyone including Eli was in, because It was the
night before Eli and ashton got married. BUT at the end of the story where phoebe and
emma just realized that their brother is involved in all of this, they didn’t say anything
about him to the police :D

4. The fault in our stars

Yet another romance sad book, it was good and heart wrenching and there were a lot of
poetry so I couldn’t really understand half of it because of my limited vocabulary :D but
its still readable, that’s what made me put off this book for so long, there are too many
words that i don’t understand but after all I still able to finish it. Why is it always the guy
that dies? Its kind of similar to ‘all the bright places’. I still like violet and finch better
tho, gus and hazel were cute but I don’t feel like their bond is as deep as violet and
finch.

5. Local Woman Missing

BITCH!!!! THIS WAS SO UNEXPECTED AND MADE ME FURIOUS
Its very complicated but it was soooo good I couldn’t put it down for the last few pages
omg. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

6. A Thousand Boy Kisses

meh. Boring, very fricking boring, I literally can predict what the ending was gonna be
like. This is why I have a love hate relationship with romance book, sometimes romance
books are just too fucking cliché and cringe bro I swear. This book is kinda sad at some
point but it didn’t make feel like sad sad yknow. Tbh I didn’t really like rune lol, idk why I
just feel like he made poppy as if she’s his whole world which was not realistic, at least
to me, yea I get it she made him happy and all but like everything he does is literally for
her, for example im assuming that he only like photography because he has poppy, so
that he can capture their moments together and also showing her some of the sunsets
she missed when she was being hospitalized, also he started talking to his dad again
because poppy told him to, if it weren’t because of her and if she didn’t die he probably
still wouldn’t talk to him, his dad still cared so much about him too even when he’s
ignoring him. I don’t know maybe I just never felt that kind of love towards someone lol,
so unrealistic I hate it :D though I love the part where she write messages for him before
she dies and also made him a jar full of blue hearted shape paper for him to fill his
thousand girl kisses, but of course he didn’t fill any of those papers, even after ten years
after she passed, until finally he passed away too at 28 or 29 I guess and live hapilly ever
after with her in heaven :D
