RULE 1 – TEAM COM

1. 1.Each team shall be be composd of 1 Coach Asst. Coach, 1 Manager, and 15 Players.
2. Each team can submit 15 legitimate players who know how to play basketball.
3. Only 15 legitimate players can play in actual game.
4. 4. Any player who play in this barangay, one allowed to play even if absent for how many years – or
on in absence “allow to play”
5. Line – ups submitted on or before the tournament starts in final. Substitution after the tournaments
starts is not allowed.
6. All teams must wear proper or prescribed uniform. (All players must tuck in their shirts into their
playing shorts. Players on the same thing shall not wear the same number).

RULE II – GROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. No replacement of players in the line up shall be allowed, after a team has already played.
Eligibility of the players shall be observed.
2. Fifteen (15) minutes grace period shall be strictly implemented before a team will be forfeited, forfeit
shall automatically have a score ________.

NOTE: Incase of the late arrival of players atleast starting five (5) players, the team involved shall charge a
technical foul at any reason of the day. Penalty 1 FREE throw and start of a jumpball at the center.

3. A team that walks out or withdraws/refuse to play from the basketball court before the end of the
game shall lose the game by forfeiture. In any reason, forfeited game shall automatically have a score
of _____.
4. Thrown – out players or Disqualified players shall be automatically be given a one (1) game
suspension, or depending on the gravity of the offence committed. And the players will pay an
amount of __________
5. Unsportsmanlike fouls/ intentional fouls, a fine of ______ shall be required to be paid the guilty
team before it shall be allowed to play in its succeciding scheduled games.

NOTE: FIBA Rules: A players shall be disqualified when charged with two (2) Unsportmalike Foul

6. Technical fouls by players and chaoched /substitutes/ team followers and benches ( Team Bench
Personnel ). A fine of ______ shall be required to be paid by the guilty team before it shall be
allowed to play in its succeeding scheduled games depending on the gravity of the situation.

FIBA RULES

 TECHNICAL FOUL – PENALTY: One Free throw and ball possesion will remain to the Team in
control of the ball before the Technical Foul.
 A player shall be disqualified when charged with two (2) Technical fouls or (2) Unspormanlike Foul
or either (1) technical foul and (1) unsportmanlike Foul.

7. FIBA RULES: In case both fouls are approximately at same time. It it is considered as Double foul rule
penalty.
8. A player, coach or team followers who retanates when punches by another player/coach/referee shall be
given a one (1) game suspension, depending on the gravity of the offence committed and will pay an amount
of ________ as a fine or penalty.

9. Teams participating in a free for all fighting shall be disqualified from the rest of the league depending on
the gravity of offence/s committed.

10. Verbal Warning shall be given at any time during the progress of the game, unless profane
language/theatrical act, direct to the referee/officials.

11. The Team Captain is a player who represents his team on playing court. He may communicate in a
courteous manner with the officials during the game to obtain information, however only when the ball is
dead and the game clock is stopped.

12. A team must have their respective uniforms and wear them during the game. No players in the line-ups
shall be allowed to use other numbers/family names or improper uniforms after officially playing for their
scheduled game. If it happens the team will be charged automatically a Technical Foul and the player
involved shall not be allowed to participate in the particular game.

13. Players shall not wear equipment objects that may cause injury to other players. Example: watch, ballers,
power balance, bracelet, necklace, and other jewelries and hair accessories.

14. Rules for improper tuck-in of uniforms & wearing equipmen objects: A player with an improper tucked-
in uniform and wearing equipment objects shall be automatically substituted during the dead ball situation
opportunity.

15. Players/Coaches/Team Bench Personnel found to be under the influence of liquor and drugs shall be
thrown-out of the game and will no longer be a part of Team/Team Bench in the particular game. For players
if it happens, the score that is made by the involved player/s is invalid and shall not be counted. Furthermore,
the particular player shall be penalized with one (1) game suspension and a fine of __________.

16. Coach, Assistant Coach, and any team member/s will not be allowed to stay at the bench if they are
influenced of liquor or drugs.

17. Player/s who is in the official line-up of the team that will not or cannot play in the elimination round will
not be allowed to play in the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and even in the Finals until the end of the league.
(House rule a player who came late, will not be allowed to play in 3rd and 4th).

18. In case of any protest, the Team Captain must sign the official scorebook. Indicating the word “Captain’s
Signature in case of Protest”, pertinent documents, regarding the nature of the protest shall be provided by
the protesting team within twenty-four (24) hours after the game. (Protest Fee_______).

19. In case the protest wins or loses, the Protest Fee will be refunded. Protests are granted upon elimination
only.

20. In case the Technical Committee got concrete and substantial evidence against the involved player or
team, the previous win or won of the game be forfeited and the involved players or team will not be allowed to
play again until the end of the league.

21. Request of postponement of the game will not be entertained unless: In case of bad weather conditions,
power outage, and other game interruptions by untimely events of or force majored, a waiting period of up to
15 minutes should be applied after which the game shall resume or be re-scheduled as determined by the
technical committee. If the game is stopped before the end of the first half or during the second half, the
remaining time, fouls, and score of both teams will remain. As there are players who are not present in that
particular game, they are not allowed to play in the rescheduled or continued game.
22. If the official (referees) and table officials (scorer, announcer, time keeper, shot clock operator) are
physically attcked by any of the team members and team followers during and after the game within the
vicinity of the playing area. The involved teams will not be allowed to play again until the end of the league.
And a fine of FIFTEEN THOUSAND official incase he/she cannot attend his/her job work because of the
inncident and the medical expenses of the official shall be required also to be paid by the guilty teams.

23. The league shall be handled by the FIBA/SBP Licensed Referees who shall decide on all techinicalities.

24. FIBA RULES will be applied an any case not covered by this Ground/House Rules and Regulations.

25. Running time shall be applied during the first period/quarter up to the fourth period/quarter and extra
periods, but in the last (2) minutes of the game clock of the last period shall be started and stop clock.
