    An interview with rakulpreet singh

    Q1. Which celebrities you believe are the most influential?

    ANSWER : Tell about the people who have influenced not just you, but the
    society at large. It is not necessary that you only name celebrities. You can also
    speak about people from other walks of life that have made an impact on you and
    whose work you admire.

    Q2. On what do you spend the most: clothes, accessories,


    perfumes, bags, or anything else?
    Answer: If I’ll get into those details the income tax department might seize all my
    clothes, accessories, etc., because you spend a lot on them on them every
    weekend.

    Q3.Where do you see yourself in the competition?


    Answer: Do not give a diplomatic answer such as you do not believe in the
    number game or competition. Of course, there is competition and you are prone
    to it. Tell the interviewer whatever opinion you have about your stand.

    Q4.Where do you think you will be after 25 years?

    Answer: After 25 years I believe that I surely would have accomplished a lot! I
    would be taking up a bunch of interesting scripts and projects , I will be settled in
    my life , having a family and there is also a possibility that my kids also take up
    the same proffession.
    Q5. What projects are you presently working on ?

    Answer: I am presently involved in 4 major filmmaking projects, 3 of which I am also acting


    in. The 4th one is my directorial debut, and all 4 will be out by the end of 2023. Additionally,
    I have recently shot a music video which will be releasing anytime soon.

    Q6. Where do you see yourself in the competition?

    Answer: I am a very non-competitive person. The only person that I do compete with is
    myself. And that too every time I feel that I could have done better in a movie or a dance.
    Mostly, I concentrate on my own work and leave the competition part to people who are not
    secure about their talent.

    Q7. How has stardom changed you?

    Answer: Stardom has changed me for sure but not in the conventional way most people
    believe. I am the same person that I was 5 years ago when the world didn’t know me.
    However, I do crave privacy and alone time now. So basically, stardom hasn’t changed me
    – it has changed my circumstances.

    Q8. How do you balance your work and private lives?

    Answer: It is the most difficult thing to balance your work life and your private one. I try to
    take one month out each year so that I can just run away from it all with my family. I try not
    to work over the weekends unless I have a commission that is not in the city where I live.
    Somehow, this arrangement works.

    Q9. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING ?


    Answer: I generally go for narrations or mostly I spend my weekend with my
    friends or my loved ones or at times I am partying .

    Q10. WHICH CELEBRITIES ACCORDING TO YOU ARE THE MOST


    INFLUENTIAL ONES ?
    Answer: Even though there are many , but I feel that Madhuri Dixit , Sridevi ,
    Aishwarya Rai Bachhan and Shah Rukh Khan are the most influential celebrities
    according to me.

    Q11. What is your favorite song?

    Answer: My favourite song is Baarish by Mohammed Irfaan from my Debut movie in


    Bollywood ‘YARIYAAN’ .

    Q12. What is your dream project?

    Answer: I would love to act in a high-budgeted romantic-comedy movie. I have always been
    a fan of rom-coms but have not yet had the opportunity to work in one.
    Q13. Describe yourself in 5 words ?

    Answer: Ambitious , Focused , Trustworthy , Indecisive , Cautious , Stable

    Q14. What would be your advice to the youngsters who are


    struggling to become an actor ?

    Answer: I would just say that this profession needs a lot of patience and hardwork , keep
    working hard don’t lose hope , be patient , keep hustling , don’t miss on to opportunities and
    give your best , the luck will be in your favour!
