RATIONALE: Organic Gardening is a school initiative for Gulayan sa Paaralan Project in
order to ensure strong partnership with the school and community and
promote environmental awareness.
Objectives:
1. Ensure, productivity, quality, sustainability and competence in organic
gardening.
2. Bring awareness on the dangers of conventional gardening based on
synthetic external inputs.
3. Ensure compliance of the project for sustainability.
4. To inculcate among the students the importance of planting vegetables
5. To develop skills in making container gardening and promotes organic
farming
6. Taking care of vegetables plant
7. Harvest quality of vegetables and give supplemental feeding to severely
wasted students
8. Motivate the interest of the students to engage in basic entrepreneurial
activities
Success Indicators:
1. Awareness on the importance and benefits of organic gardening.
2. Improved school physical aspect, maintained and organized environment.
3. To rehabilitate/improve the school nursery for the propagation of vegetable
