1 Check the Material is as per approved submittal.

Check drawings used for installation are latest


2 and approved.

Check all material are new and undamaged.


Megger each length of busway before
installation to check for possible damage of
3 contamination during shifting and storage.
Check the layout, opening and elevations of
the installed bus duct system as per approved
4 drawings.

Check the installation complies with the


5 manufacturer's instruction / drawings.

Check the supporting system and support


6 spacing as the approved drawings.

Check the continuity and insulation resistance


7 prior and after the installation.

Check all the nuts, bolts, screws etc. are tight


8 and secure. ( Torque 60-80 lbs)
Check the installation of bus duct system is
9 coordinate with other services as required.

Check the earth bonding is provided as per


10 approved drawings.
Check all joints are tightened with totque
sensitive special bolts supplied by the
11 manufacturer using torque wrench.
Manufacturer's representative to check and
certify the installation, prior to consultant's
12 inspection.

Identification labeling completed as per


13 approved details and DEWA requirement.
