A famous quote once said, "Every beginning in nature has an ending, and every ending signals a
new beginning." Whenever something ends, we start a new one, and that’s the cycle of life. That's the
cycle of our journey. My journey. Four years ago, I started as a newbie in high school, or so-called
"juniors." It was fun, hard, and a great adventure for someone like me. I had friends, the best teachers,
and great memories. However, every journey must come to an end. I had to leave the life I was
comfortable with, but I know my story does not end there. I must start a new odyssey. That is when I
began senior high school and enrolled in one of the area's well-known prestigious schools, Dr. Yanga
Colleges Inc.
Some might say this was very cliché, but the first step I took inside the school was similar to
when I first started my high school year. After settling in for two years of virtual learning, it wasvery
nostalgic. I have come to this school to start a new life, to explore, and most of all, I was determined to
find my purpose. At first, I was anxious to introduce myself to the packs of strangers in front of me.
"What if they wouldn’t like me?" "What if I’d look too weird and awkward?" Those were the exact
thoughts I had in the back of my head. Eventually, I had faced my fears, and I started making new
friends. Because of them, my experiences grew. I was able to socialize and explore more about myself.
Isn’t living hard? But what did you know was harder? It was discovering your goals. I didn’t know I was
great at volleyball until I had someone who was willing to play with me and had me guided all through
the process. I didn’t know I could be a subject monitor until I tried to be one. I didn’t know I was great at
communicating until I noticed I had so many friends, and I understand them well.
After all, changes aren't always bad; we're often scared for the majority of our first times, aren't
we? We just have to keep up with the pace, and I must say that for the first semester of my senior year, I
had one of those gratifying, back-breaking, bizarre roller coaster rides, but on the contrary, I was eager
to continue this mixed and unpredictable journey of mine. As what I’ve said, every end is a start of a
new beginning.
