There are a few characteristics of literature during the post-EDSA period. They made literary works at
that time distinctive and many authors were able to put their thoughts into words creatively. This paper
is going to discuss the most conspicuous characteristics of Philippine Literature after the EDSA
Revolution. Moreover, the post-EDSA literature embraced many attributes that shone through and
caught people’s attention. The article I chose was written by Mercado et al. (n. d.) and the paper talked
about several pieces of information about the period. They also included then famous authors and
provided a few of their backgrounds. Additionally, the paper contained their most notable literary
works’ summary. Overall, this paper aims to determine the attributes of post-EDSA literature.
