TF23 - Youth Fair Entry Information and Standards
How to Register:
- Registration on DirectAthletics.com. If your team is not invited, please email the Meet Director
so he can invite your team. Once registering you should…
- 1) Register all Elite entries, 2) Register Regular entries, 3) Register Consolation entries.
Elite Division:
- Elite entries are for all 15 individual events.
- Teams are allowed unlimited entries. All entries will have verified cut-off marks/times (see
next page). If athletes have not officially met these marks, their entry will not be accepted.
- Athletes without marks/times should be registered in the Regular or Consolation divisions.
- The following events are Elite only: High Jump, Pole Vault, Javelin, 800m, 1600m, & 3200m.
Regular Division:
- Regular entries include the following events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 100h/110h, 400h, 4x100m,
4x400m, 4x800m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, & Discus.
- Teams are allowed three (3) individual entries or one (1) relay. All entries are accepted.
Consolation Division:
- Consolation entries are for the 1600m & 800m.
- Teams are allowed unlimited entries. All entries are accepted.
- Consolation races are open races (non-scoring, but officially timed) for young/JV athletes to get
an opportunity to compete at a big meet. These races are during the field events, and are NOT the
slower heats of the regular competition.
- Please register athletes in either the 1600m or the 800m and NOT both races as these events are
back-to-back which creates excessive No Shows in the 800m. If an athlete is registered in both
Consolation races, they will be removed from one of the events.
Adaptive Division:
- Adaptive entries include the following events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Shot Put, & Javelin.
- Teams are allowed unlimited entries. Please email the Meet Director for manual addition of all
Adaptive athletes. Please email the following information: school, student full name, gender,
TFRRS#, grade, events, and adaptive classification (Wheelchair or Ambulatory).
Minimum Performance Standards for Elite Division Entries:
- All entries entered in the Elite division must have met the minimum performance standards
listed below. If they have not, they will be rejected by DirectAthletics, to which those athletes
should be registered in the Regular or Consolation divisions.
- Please note that due to the Regular division now allowing three (3) individual entries per event,
as opposed to two (2) entries previously, the Elite cut-off marks have become more difficult.
- If there is a special circumstance where an athlete has hit the mark/time previously, but that
performance is not in the DirectAthletics database (but can be verified on flrunners), then please
email the Meet Director so he can manually enter that athlete.
- Also, if you have a conflict with an athlete not meeting a certain standard (i.e. an elite 1600m
athlete does not have an official 3200m time, but is capable of hitting the Elite time and you wish
to enter that athlete in the 3200m run) then please email the Meet Director so he can verify the
athlete’s capability and manually enter that athlete.
* If a coach is found to have athletes competing under false names in order to be placed in the
Elite division, that coach / school will be banned from the Youth Fair competition for one year *
