Automated E-Mail Reply by Chatbot Using PyTorch

A group of students created an automated email reply chatbot using PyTorch to assist faculty in responding to frequently asked questions from students. The chatbot aims to address common student inquiries with a single response to multiple linked emails, as faculty are unable to respond to all emails due to the large volume and increase in spam. This allows issues to be resolved efficiently and in a timely manner, saving faculty significant time and effort.

ABSTRACT

Considering the large number of frequently asked questions (FAQs)


sent by students to the faculty, we decided to create a chatbot that
might assist the faculty in responding to all students and resolving their
issues. As the number of SPAM e-mails increases, faculty are unable to
read them all, and they frequently neglect to respond to the e-mails
they are required to answer (i.e., student inquiries). Therefore, utilising
the chatbot will result in effective and timely responses. This allows us
to resolve common difficulties and problems with a single reply to all
linked emails, saving a great deal of time and effort.
