    INTRODUCTION AIM AND OBJECTIVE
    Chain surveying is the method of surveying in which only linear measurements are
    taken in fieldwork but at times not necessary with a chain.
    These types are of surveys main suitable for surveying small areas of land. It describes
    the boundaries of the plot, area of land, and other distances and angles on the field.

    Aim:-
    1. To run a survey line where there is no obstacle or something obstructing the line.
    2. To run a survey line on a plan surface and clearer view.

     Direction to observe

    Procedure/field work
    CHAINING AND RANGING WITHOUT OBSTACLE
    It is required to measure a survey line without obstruction in ranging and chaining. The
    diagram measure is shown in figure below which proceeds from point A to point B,
    from B can go no further to point C.

     We mark a point on the survey line at a convenient distance such as AB forms
    the base.
     From the base AB set out point C.
     Produce the line BC to set out a point D.
     We check line AC and line BD and there was a little error due to the slope of the
    site.

    SUMMARY
    The practical shown and educates us how to carry out survey to make a rectangular
    shape with no instruments use.
    To make a survey on a clearer view, without obstacle in both ranging and chaining.
    CONCLUSION
    The aim of the practical is to achieved the appropriate instrument used and the survey
    method and procedures were carried out in accordance with survey rules and
    regulations and department
    I hereby recommended that this kind of practical tasks should be continuous exercise so
    that students will be able to carry out chain survey on plain surfaces without obstacle.

    RECOMMENDATION
    I hereby recommend this type of chain surveying method should be carry out for every
    student that has no idea or that has never carry this type of chain survey method before.
