Reading Comprehension Grade 3 The Magic Portal

Amy had a magic portal in her bedroom that allowed her to travel to any destination in the world and back without needing transportation. She used the portal to travel to a different country every weekend and stayed in expensive hotels. To pay for her travels, Amy stole money from banks around the world by transporting herself inside. Although she felt guilty about stealing, she did not feel that guilty because she was only ten years old.

The Magic Portal

There was a magic portal in Amy’s bedroom. She could travel to any

travel to a different country every weekend. Amy stayed in the nicest
hotels and saw places that no one else could see, and it was all
because of her magic portal. To pay for all of the hotels and sight
seeing, Amy would transport herself into the biggest banks in the
world and take from the richest people in the world. The amount of
cash in her room was ridiculous. She felt guilty about doing this, but
not that guilty…She was only a ten year old girl after all…
