MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF THE BARANGAY 11, R.V.
SANCHEZ STREET (NORTH) SAN MIGUEL, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON FEBRUARY 4, 2023
AT 3:30 O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON.

A. CALL TO ORDER:

At 3: 35 in the afternoon, Hon. Rose Marie S. Samorro, Punong Barangay, Presiding Officer called the session to order.

B. INVOCATION:

A prayer of thanks and intentions was led by Hon. Claudio M. Caceres

C. ROLL CALL:

With all members present, the Chair declared the presence of a quorum and the following were made to record, to wit:

D. READING AND CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS SESSION:

Minutes of the Regular Session, dated February 4, 2023.

The said minutes was read before the Body. Correction was solicited page by page. Presiding Officer ask what
are the pleasure of the body. Since there having no correction Hon. Gerardo G. Sencil Sr. moved to approve the minutes of the
previous session dated January 21, 2023 and this motion was duly seconded by Hon. Belen S. Samorro there having no
objection, the Chair declared motion carried.

c) Barangay Matters-

 Punong Barangay Rose Marie S. Samorro presented to the body the appointment of Maricon P.
Sancho as Barangay Secretary
 This appointment is due to resignation of Rhoda S. Senose effective on January 27, 2023.
 There will be an Anti- rabbies vaccination on March 1-2, 2023.
 Punong Barangay Rose Marie S. Samorro announce that our new MLGOO assigned is Maam
Ruby L. Paranga from Municiplaity of Miag-ao.
 The Monthly Accomplishment Report, should be included our projects implemented.
 February is Civil Registration Month, there will be a mass wedding so the Barangay Officials
should dessiminate the information to our unmarried couple constituents.
 Punong Barangay Rose Marie S. Samorro open about the registration of the PHILGEPS account
because it is needed for the implementation of our P 150,000.00 project.
 Council agreed to invite the members of BHW, BNS and BSPO in order to correct our Barangay
Profile because it is also the attachment to our Annual Investment Plan.
 Also tacled is Barangay Based Institutions(BBI’s) should be reorganized.

c) Barangay Matters-

 Punong Barangay Rose Marie S. Samorro asked to the council about their monitoring on
our constituents who are still using illegal drugs because we have to pass Certification of
BADAC of Non-existence to the Police.
 The Inventory Of Barangay Facilities was tacled and the Barangay Officials planned to
improved and provide additional facilities.
 We should update the posting of our Full Disclosure Board.
 Punong Barangay Rose Marie S. Samorro requested Treas. Segocio to total the amount
allotted for the Puchase of Lot.
 The council agreed to appoint additional Katarungan Pambarangay Members.
 BDC meeting is scheduled on February 21, 2023 at 5:00 in the afternoon.
 Before the BDC meeting is the special meeting for our Barangay Health Volunteers.
 For PWD member the effectivity of their Identification Card is good for 3 years.
 Punong Barangay Rose Marie s. Samorro that there is Vitamin C from Mayor’s Office and
need to distribute to our constituents.
 Lastly, the Barangay Officials planned to create a Barangay Officials portrait.
