Description
FOP-10 is an orifice plate for flow rate measurement of aggressive and non-aggressive media. It is particularly designed for large pipelines. This orifice plate produce a differential pressure signal proportional to the square of the flow rate. The differential pressure output is normally piped to a differential pressure transmitter in order to generate an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate. A differential pressure gauge or switch can be used to provide local mechanical indication or flow rate switching. For certain applications, the differential pressure transmitter can be directly mounted on to the FOP-10 via an integral 3 or 5 valve manifold.
