    conflict." Discuss in relation to the novel Maru.

    In the novel "Maru" by Bessie Head, the author employs a variety of narrative techniques to
    depict the interpersonal conflicts that arise among the characters. These techniques include
    the use of stream-of-consciousness. Through these techniques, Head is able to create a rich
    and complex portrayal of the conflicts that arise between everyone in the novel.

    One of the keyways in which Head uses narrative technique to depict interpersonal conflict is
    through the use of stream-of-consciousness. This known to depict the inner thoughts and
    emotions of the characters. By showing the characters' thoughts, Head can reveal their
    motivations, fears, and insecurities. Thus, the technique is particularly effective in depicting
    the conflict with Maru when he face with his mental unease.
