LED “STANDBY” (red)

General
STANDBY The ASI - TV - transmodulators ATC 1x1 are modules of the headend system B-
READY

ADDR.
LED “READY” (green) LINE which is conceived as a complete system for middle-sized networks.
LED “ADDR.” (Yellow) The modules convert digital ASI - signals into analogue cable-TV signals. All
modules will be programmed via a central control unit (HCB100) and are working
Address selection switch fully independent afterwards.

The status of each individual module will be displayed via a colored LED

Function Description
The digital ASI - signal will be decoded. The obtained serial data stream will be parallelized and fed to a FIFO. The data tact will be
regenerated from the filling level of the FIFO. The regeneration of the transport stream-SPI protocoll follows the FIFO.
The regeneration also makes sure the detection of a correct transportstream concurrently.
The following MPEG-decoder selects a program and provides an analogue video- and a digital audio signal which will be converted
within the following D/A - transducer into two analogue audio-channels.
The analogue signals will be fed to seperate modulators and summed up in the IF - range.
The conversion into the desired output channel will be done after the following IF - filtration.
Every module is equiped with a range-filter at the output (8 device variants / range-selective) to minimize the noise storage at the ouput.
The output channel is free selectable within the respective range.
The modules are adjacent-channel sufficient and generate standardized Mono-/Stero -signals.

Additional functions : Group delay correction (factory assempled)

Programming Adjustment with the head end controller

· Adjustment of the addresses at the bus extender BEB 100 and at the
Start - ATB 1x1 modules
· Activation of the programming mode of each module by selecting the
Program name line (BEB 100) and the module position (01... 15) at the head end
controller(HCB 100)
Scan ® yellow LED will be lit up til the beginning of the parameter

SECURITY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When assembling, starting-up and adjusting the modules, it is necessary to consider the system specific references in the
manual instruction!

The modules may only be installed and started up by authorized technical personnel!

When assembling the modules into the receiving points, the adherence of the EMV regulations is to be secured!

The assembly and wiring have to be done without voltage!

All active modules may only be operated with the head end controller HCB 100 or bus extender BEB 100!

The main voltage for all power supply units is 230 V, 50 Hz.

With all work the defaults of the DIN EN 50083 have to be considered!
Especially the safety relevant execution of the DIN EN 50083/1 is necessary!

Options and other TV standards available upon request!
