IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN ON
PHARMACEUTICALS

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the pharmaceutical supply
chain around the world. As worries about medicine availability during the
pandemic grow, it has become more important to know how the pandemic is
affecting the supply chain. The pandemic has caused short-term problems in the
pharmaceutical industry, which could cause supply chains to move away from
China and India, which are the two biggest suppliers of raw materials. Also, the
pandemic has caused a huge rise in the need for medicines, which has led to
severe shortages. It has also made it hard to make and ship medicines, which
has slowed down delivery times. It's also important to note that the pandemic
has shown how important it is to have safe, reliable, and able-to-respond-to-
unexpected-events pharmaceutical systems and supply chains.
Several studies have looked at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the
supply chain of medicines around the world. One study by the UNODC Global
Research Network found that the pandemic has made it harder for people
around the world to get medicine, especially in low- and middle-income
countries where production and supply have been disrupted. Another study
published in the International Journal of Production Economics found that the
pandemic has made the global supply chain more uncertain, which has led to
less production and higher costs. Also, a cross-sectional study published in the
journal Cancer Care and Research found that the pandemic has had a big effect
on cancer care around the world, causing delays in diagnosis and treatment.
Lastly, a quick review in the journal Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics
found that the pandemic has messed up the global supply chain of antiretroviral
drugs, delaying delivery and access to these important medicines.
IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN ON EDUCATION

The literature review on the Impact of COVID-19 on Global Supply Chain on

Education shows that the pandemic has caused problems with supply chains in
many ways, such as making it harder to get materials and making shipping and
delivery take longer than usual. This has caused some products to run out,
prices to go up, and product quality to go down. In terms of education, the
pandemic has caused schools to close and has made it hard to teach and learn.
This has led to fewer people finishing their education and fewer chances for
students to learn. Also, the pandemic has made it hard for many families to
make ends meet and has led to higher rates of poverty, which can make
educational differences even worse.

The steps that the Indian government has taken to make sure that everyone gets
a good education are emphasised. People have also talked about both the good
and bad effects of the pandemic on the education system. Also, some good ideas
are given for making sure that educational activities run as smoothly as possible
during the pandemic. In 2020, a study looked at how the closing of schools in
Nigeria because of the pandemic affected schools. The pandemic has also been
blamed for the decline of international education, the disruption of academic
schedules in higher education, the cancellation of international conferences, the
lack of staff in educational institutions, the creation of gaps between teaching
and learning, and a cut to the budget of higher education. This study also gives
the government some suggestions, like increasing the budget for higher
education, which could help higher education institutions deal with the damage
caused by the covid pandemic and the closing of schools.
IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN ON AUTOMOBILE

The article "Effect of COVID-19 on the Automotive Supply Chains" by Huong

Le talks about what the COVID-19 pandemic means for the supply chains in the
automotive industry. The report focuses on how the epidemic has caused a lot of
problems in the sector and forced companies, logistical centres, and
transportation hubs to close. The effects of the pandemic on the supply chain for
vehicles are also talked about in the article. This includes everything from the
companies that sell raw materials to the companies that sell finished goods to
customers. The author also gives a thorough look at how it affected the global
auto industry and what the biggest problems were, like a lack of workers,
changes in demand, and breaks in the supply chain. The paper also talks about
how the COVID-19 virus has sped up the move of the auto industry towards
digitalization and automation. This has led to the development of new
technologies and supply chain models that are less likely to break down in the
future. In the end of the article, it is emphasised how important it is for the auto
industry to set up flexible and long-lasting supply networks that can handle
unexpected problems and interruptions. This will help the industry be ready for
them in the future. The paper says that Covid-19 causes supply disruptions,
demand shocks, problems with managing the work force, and financial
constraints in the auto supply chain. The industry's supply chain was messed up
because China shut down. The study also found that the demand shock caused
by the pandemic made people want to drive their own cars more, which changed
the demand for certain types of cars. According to the research, the pandemic
has forced the auto industry to take more safety precautions, cut jobs, and let
people work from home. In the short term, the article talks about how the
pandemic has caused problems with the global supply chain. This problem is
caused by the closing of industrial units, a drop in consumer demand, and the
trouble of managing a remote workforce. This article also talks about what
COVID-19 means for the structure of the supply chain in the auto industry.
Some of these effects are changes to inventory management, distribution
channels, and the way suppliers talk to each other. The paper's author says that
in the long run, the pandemic has sped up a number of changes that were
already happening in the auto industry. Electric cars, digitalization, and
sustainability are all examples of these trends. Another thing that is talked about
in the paper is the need to make supply chains more resilient and flexible so that
they can deal with future problems.
