1. Login to the server as the netcool user and copy configuration details like UID, GID, and hostname to a notepad.
2. Edit the control_shutdown.sql file to include the collected configuration details and run the SQL script to create procedures on the object server.
3. Initiate an orderly shutdown of the primary object server by executing the control_shutdown procedure, which should stop the PA process and disconnect clients as seen in the PA log.

Copy uid and gid into
notepad. 2) Run "hostname -f" command and copy host name into notepad. 3) Copy object server name and PA name into notepad. 4) Keep "netcool" user encrypted password "BFDCGFHGFNFKGNCEGN" in notepad. 5) Go to $OMNIHOME/etc/objectserver directory and open object server properties file and then check for "PA.Name", "PA.Password", "PA.Username", "Name" properties and make sure they are properly configured. Then do a immediate restart of PRI object server. 6) Go to "/opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/omnibus/extensions/control_shutdown" and take backup of "control_shutdown.sql" as "control_shutdown.sql_orig" and give "chmod 755 control_shutdown.sql". 7) Edit the file with hostname, uid, gid, objectserver name, user, password and PA name in the corresponding areas. Please reefer to AGG_D3_P1_PA for understanding. 8) Once the file is modified, run the command "/opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/omnibus/bin/nco_sql -server AGG_D3_P1 -user root -password net@Bharti#123 < /opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/omnibus/extensions/control_shutdown/control_shutdown.sql". 9) Connect to the object server through Administrator and check for procedures tab, you should see control_shutdown related procedures created in objectserver. 10) If it's AGG PRI server, enable "pass_deletes" trigger on both AGG PRI nd AGG BKP. 11) On AGG BKP server go to bi gw props and make sure the following properties are configured. Gate.Resync.Type : 'MINIMAL' Gate.ObjectServerA.Username : 'gateway' Gate.ObjectServerA.Password : 'BEEHBHBBAPFMDHFIHC' Gate.ObjectServerB.Username : 'gateway' Gate.ObjectServerB.Password : 'BEEHBHBBAPFMDHFIHC' 12) Once bi gw is configured as above, restart AGG BKP object server once, then restart bi gw once and check bi gw log for Successful resynchronization complete message. 13) Then do control shut down of AGG PRI object server as follows. Take duplicate tab and tail PA log. Then execute below command. /opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/omnibus/bin/nco_sql -server AGG_D3_P1 -user root - password net@Bharti execute procedure control_shutdown; go 14) In PA log we should see some message like below. 2020-10-19T11:17:16: Debug: Connection from 'nco_objserv@mnvl-pa- d3aggp1.enoc.airtel.co' by 'secure-login' 2020-10-19T11:17:16: Information: Command '[SETGID=1000]$OMNIHOME/bin/nco_pa_stop -process AGG_D3_P1 -user netcool -password BFDCGFHGFNFKGNCEGN -server AGG_D3_P1_PA ' passed to dispatch thread and RPC acknowledged. 2020-10-19T11:17:16: Debug: Route Lookup on 'mnvl-pa-d3aggp1.enoc.airtel.com' which is a ROUTE_PRIMARY_INTERFACE route type. 2020-10-19T11:17:16: Information: Starting an unmanaged process.
