Whether light- medium- or heavy- duty applications, Sandvik offers a wide range of conveyor components to suit your needs
COMPREHENSIVE SUPPLIER
Sandvik is more than a manufacturer and supplier of conveyor components.
Our customers are our productivity partners, supported by an engineering
competency geared towards improved plant reliability as well as reduced
total cost of ownership.
Rollers and frames
versatile, sturdy, lasting
From Europe to America to Australia, Sandvik focuses on developing and
manufacturing the rollers, frames and idlers to suit your particular market
needs. Whether metric or imperial, we offer a range that fits virtually all
applications. We excel in the most demanding challenges conquering inclines
and hills, with loads that can range from heavy lignite to taconite. Because
we manufacture close to you, we can provide quick response and lead times,
while ensuring quality and longevity.
METRIC ROLLERS
Sandvik manufactures rollers and frames to DIN and ISO standards, primarily
for the European and Asian markets and some parts of Africa. Roller diameters
range from 51 mm to 219 mm and bearing sizes from 6204 to 6312, and are
available in various materials.
• HM120 light-duty
• HM130 medium-duty
• HM140 heavy-duty
• HM150 formed roller
IMPERIAL ROLLERS
Manufactured in Australia, Chile and Brazil, Sandvik rollers are available
in CEMA diameters from 102 mm (4”) to 203 mm (7.6”) and bearing sizes
from 6204 to 6312. They are available in various materials.
• HA120/HV120 light-duty
• HA130/HV130 medium-duty
• HA140/HV140 heavy-duty
• HV150 formed roller
ENGINEERED PULLEYS
Large, high capacity conveyors require pulleys that are engineered and
manufactured to the most exacting of standards. Sandvik HP130 series of
engineered pulleys is designed with our unique in-house software, ensuring that
consideration is given to all operating conditions. Calculation of fatigue life
ensures our pulleys are built to last. When combined with a comprehensive
maintenance and reconditioning regime, a Sandvik pulley will provide
decades of trouble-free service. The Sandvik HP130 pulleys are available
in all sizes, and we are able to manufacture pulleys with masses up to 30
tonnes (66140 lb).
MEDIUM-DUTY PULLEYS
The Sandvik HP120 series of standard pulleys meets the regular needs
of mid to large scale applications with diameters up to 1 000 mm (40”).
Designed for normal loads, the medium-duty pulleys are readily available.
As catalog items, they eliminate the need for custom calculations.
LIGHT-DUTY PULLEYS
When heavy loads or high speed are not absolutely required, the Sandvik
HP110 series of high-quality, light-duty pulleys operate with maximum
efficiency. They are predesigned to provide an economic solution to a
wide range of industry applications. With pulley diameters up to 400 mm
(15.7”), they are ideally suited to mobile and semi-mobile equipment.
Loading and discharge points
effective transfers
It is widely recognized that the loading and discharge points on any conveyor
demand the most attention to avoid costly, unsightly and unsafe operating
conditions. Dust, noise, carry-back and impact damage are just some of
the problems that can arise. With concern for both efficient operations and
the employee environment, Sandvik has developed a range of products for
these situations. Our application engineers have designed simple and effective
solutions that provide measurable benefits in a conveyor’s performance.
Sandvik can help you evaluate your transfer points to maximize conveyor
efficiency and productivity.
CAST-IN-CARBIDE
High impact and high wear situations such as sliding and crushing material
may require the HX900 cast-in-carbide wear protection. Nothing performs
to the same level, adding years of life in the most arduous applications.
HX900 is available as standard liner plates but can also be customized to
suit specific high wear applications.
CERAMIC
Sandvik composite rubber-ceramic wear plates and sheeting can be bolted
or glued into transfer chutes to provide extended service life where high
abrasion occurs. These products are available from 5mm (0.2”) up to 100
mm (3.9”) thick and provide significant advantages over the traditional epoxy
bonded ceramic tiles by providing cushioning of the ceramic tiles and
thereby reducing the risk of impact damage that may occur.
POLYMER
Sandvik long lasting rubber liners are all-around wear protection that fit
most applications from light- to extra heavy-duty. The polyurethane wear
plates and polyurethane sheeting manufactured by Sandvik are ideal for
use in wet applications. The Sandvik rubber wear protection, can be installed
to the inside of transfer chutes for improved wear life as well as reduced
noise level for personnel comfort and safety.
