for improved operations to the field;
• contribute to the realization of the BEDP 2030 and BER 2023 by empowering
officials and workforce of each governance level to translate integrity,
competence, and diligence into their respective roles and functions;
• provide a platform for regional directors and schools division superintendents to
raise concerns and issues related to field operations for the top management to
present informed interventions and solutions; and
• prepare the regional and division offices for the upcoming Management Review to

January 10, 2023 - The Department of Education (DepEd) is


set to conduct the Basic Education Report 2023 (BER) on
January 30, 2023.

The BER 2023 aims to present the state of basic education in


the country, and the plans and initiatives of the Department
to fulfill its mandate.

The Department intends to provide a broad report about the


basic education sector which will include updates on the on-
going review of the K to 12 curriculum. The BER will also
launch the education agenda and the new call to action for
all Filipinos.

CLIENT/CITIZEN SATISFACTION RESULTS reported for FY 2022 PBB

While the target for the CCSS - High Satisfaction Rate (5.000 – 4.500) - remained the same
between FY 2021 and 2022 PBB, the target for all concerns referred by the 8888 and Contact
Center ng Bayan (CCB) was updated to 100% compliance rate, i.e. acknowledgment and
resolution of ALL concerns received within the ARTA-prescribed 72-hour processing time.

For FY 2022 PBB, DepEd reported a 4.57 rating (high satisfaction rate), combined
resolution rate of 83.03 (below target), and compliance rate of 69.77% (below target) for
CCB referrals. 8888 has not yet provided the compliance rate of DepEd.
