Look for one which is


related to your course of study or major field of specialization and which requires you
to register to attend. Attend and submit the following evidences to show that you
attended.
a. Photocopy of your e-certificate.
b. Screenshots of the discussion in the webinar.
c. A copy of the email confirming your registration.
d. One-page summary of what was discussed during the webinar.

Summary of what was discussed during the Webinar
During our webinar last Saturday, dated March 11, 2023, using an online learning tool
called “ReSkills”. Mr. William Wong discussed 7 psychological tips for unleashing the true
potential. The goal of this webinar is to talk about or share some things on how to have a
balanced life in order for our us to be healthy mentally, socially, emotionally and physically.
We all have amazing potential within us. We might be able to accomplish a lot if we
tapped into it, but often that potential gets ignored and withers. By applying a few simple
solutions, however, we can improve who we are and what we are capable of.
Mr. William Wong, also tackled the importance of being fit in all aspects of life
( emotionally, socially, mentally, physically). It is important in order for our brains or mind to
function well. A well maintained health aspects helps in decision makings. He also added that
having a fit personality well help improve us a being and well be the way to become a better
person. The lesson he discussed was essential and important for me and everybody, because it
well help me/ us as we grow up.
2. Choose one from the different online resources and do the following:

a. Describe the online resource (what it is, how it is used, is it free or not, website or location
of the resource)
-YouTube is a free video-hosting website that allows members to store and serve video content.
YouTube members and website visitors can share YouTube videos on a variety of web platforms by using

a link or by embedding HTML code. YouTube is used to search for and watch videos, create personal
YouTube channel, upload videos to your channel, like/Comment/share other YouTube videos, users can
subscribe/follow other YouTube channels and users, create playlists to organize videos and group videos
together. YouTube is found in the menu of our mobile phones and can be found from browser of a PC or
Laptop

b. Discuss how you can use this in your classroom when teaching a topic in your own field of
specialization.
When teaching students, a lesson using YouTube the following would be the way to do it;
-Ask your students to create ‘About Me’ videos and share with the class.
- Create a playlist of videos you are going to use in lessons.
-Encourage your students to subscribe to relevant subject related channels or playlists.
-Showcase student work by creating a course channel. Use TED talk videos (or other relevant
videos) as a focus for discussion.
- In place of a face to face presentation ask students to screencast* their presentation with a
voice over.
-Create how to guides to introduce new concepts. Produce video summaries of assessment
briefs and the marking criteria.
- Use video to give students feedback (this could be a screencast with voice over). Ask students
to reflect on this feedback as a video and embed in their digital portfolio.
