Playlists
Playlists organizes your metronomes in groups. A playlist contains
metronomes (you can refer them as songs) and metronome is built by
metronome sequences. You can also import regular audio tracks to
playlists.

Editing, removing and exporting playlists
Long pressing (slide left on iOS) playlist causes action
bar to appear. It is possible to export, edit or remove
playlist.

After pressing edit option selected playlist opens in


playlist creator (p. 10).

Caution. Export feature is available only on Android.

Cloud synchronization
After pressing cloud synchronization
button, an action dialog appears

Upload playlists – uploads playlists from device’s memory to


cloud. All cloud data will be replaced by device’s data.

Download playlists – downloads from cloud previously


uploaded playlists. All device’s Camtronome playlists data
will be replaced by cloud’s data.

Android only: In case of uploading playlists containing audio tracks,


uploading process may take more time. Its progress can be tracked on
system’s notification progress bar.

Practice mode
Launched by selecting "Practice mode" option in main menu (p. 6).

Practice settings window contains 4


options:
Increasing and decreasing tempo, muting
whole metronome or muting random

Quick actions settings:

Ad-free mode:
Select Camtronome working mode (online with ads / offline without
ads). Contains ad-free time purchase options.

Metronome sounds:
Metronome notes sound selection from predefined list (p. 24).

Speech synthesis and metronome sound balance:


Set sounds pan of metronome and speech synthesis. Does not impact
audio tracks (p. 25).
Hardware keyboard:
Allows configure remote Camtronome control using external
bluetooth / USB keyboard (p. 26).
Speech synthesis:
Setting speech synthesis that can read metronome markers, metronome
names and confirm recording (p. 27).
Misc settings:
Select Camtronome language, theme (light / dark) and enable or disable

Recording settings
Recording mode switch
When enabled, all metronome pages contains additional button that can
start/stop actual recording that works independently from metronome play
button. When audio only recording is selected, audio recording text appears.
When video is selected, camera preview shows up.

Recording format selection:

Allows manual selecting recording
directory. DCIM/Camtronome is

Camera settings

Camera selection:
Allows selecting back or front device camera

Recording settings:
Set recording resolution and framerate. This list varies
for each device model.

Rescan device cameras:


Restarts Camtronome and scans device’s cameras

Ad-free mode settings
Camtronome can be used in two modes:
Online mode – no time limits, but this mode requires constant internet connection
and ads are displayed.
Ad-free mode – no internet connection is required and no ads are displayed, but
each time metronome or recording has started, timer will count down. 15 minutes
is Camtronome start amount. When it elapses, it has to be topped-up by available
options or online mode has to be turned on again.

to offline time

Offline time purchase options:


Tapping button opens payment window.
Available purchases:
10 h – 0.99 $
30 h – 1.99 $
100 h – 4.99 $
Permanent unlock – 14.99 $

Purchased offline time is added to one device. It is not possible to transfer offline time to another device or restore it after
Camtronome reinstall. Permanent unlock removes all ads and ad-free time at all, forever, on all devices with one operating system
belonging to one user account.

Metronome sounds settings
Metronome sound settings are available for three accent types:
new bar, accent and helper notes. Camtronome offers 46 different
sounds.

Select accent:
In order to select accent’s sounds, it has to be
tapped.

Metronome and speech synthesis sound balance

Set speech synthesis and metronome sounds pan


This settings does not apply to audio tracks.
When LEFT channel is selected, all speech and metronome sounds
will be played on left channel only and audio track will play on both.
Use when you have playlists with audio tracks containing background
tape (on one channel) synced with metronome track (on second
channel) to avoid accidential speech synthesis on background tape
channel.

Slider to set sound balance

Metronome and speech synthesis sound balance can be added to quick actions
in main menu.

Hardware keyboard
Allows controlling Camtronome using remote keyboard.

In order to assign keyboard key to action, tap it and press required keyboard
button.

Speech synthesis settings
Enabling this option makes speech synthesis read metronome
markers when metronome or audio track is played. In order to use
speech synthesis, it has to be downloaded and configured in system
setting’s first.

Speech synthesis switch

Read metronome names – when enabled, speech synthesis reads current


metronome name. It happens when metronome is selected manually from
playlist’s metronomes list or when previous metronome has ended and
next one is ready to play.

Confirm recording – when enabled, speech synthesis confirms when


recording has started or ended. Usable when Camtronome is remotely
controlled by external keyboards.

Enabling and disabling speech synthesis can also be added to quick actions.

Misc and theme settings
Language selection:
By default, Camtronome language is
determined by operating system. It is
possible to set it manually

Do not turn display off:


Blocks your device’s screen from turning off.

Practice reminding:
If enabled, Camtronome reminds you about
inactivity.

Turn light theme:


Changes Camtronome theme to light. Caution –
devices with OLED screens may have increased
battery usage.
