Read the following text to answer questions number 13 - 15.
A long time ago, there lived on the island of Bali a giant-like creature named Kebo
Iwo. The people of Bali used to say that Kebo Iwo was everything, a destroyer as well as
a creator. He was satisfied with the meal, but this meant for the Balinese people enough
food for a thousand men.
Difficulties arose when for the first time the barns were almost empty and the new
harvest was still a long way off. This made Kebo Iwo wild with great anger. In his hunger,
he destroyed all the houses and even all the temples. It made the Balinese turn to rage.
So, they came together to plan steps to oppose this powerful giant by using his
stupidity. They asked Kebo Iwo to build them a very deep well, and rebuild all the houses
and temples he had destroyed. After they fed Kebo Iwo, he began to dig a deep hole.
One day he had eaten too much, he fell asleep in the hole. The oldest man in the
village gave a sign, and the villagers began to throw the limestone they had collected
before into the hole. The limestone made the water inside the hole boiling . Kebo Iwo
was buried alive. Then the water in the well rose higher and higher until at last it
overflowed and formed Lake Batur. The mound of earth dug from the well by Kebo Iwo is
known as Mount Batur.

If someone is having a nose bleed, your priority is to control the bleeding and keep their airway open.
1) Get them to sit down (not lie down) as keeping the nose above the heart will reduce
bleeding.
2) Get them to lean forward (not backwards), to make sure the blood drains out through
their pause every ten minutes, until the bleeding stops.
3) Encourage them not to speak, swallow, cough, spit or sniff because this may break
blood clots that may have started to form in the nose.
4) If the bleeding is severe, or if it lasts more than 30 minutes, call for medical help.
Elon Musk
Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. His parents divorced when
he was only 10, and to escape from his unstable life he became interested in computers and
software. He taught himself how to create his own software and when he was 12 years old he
sold his first software - a game he created called Blastar. Musk was also interested in karate
and wrestling. When he was 17 years old, he moved to Canada to attend Queen’s University.
Another reason he left South Africa was to avoid mandatory service in the South African
military. Musk became a Canadian citizen that same year because he felt like it would be
easier for him to become an American citizen as a Canadian than as a South African.
Musk eventually earned a degree in economics and physics in 1992. After this, the
Internet Boom occurred, and Musk began building his internet businesses. In 1999 PayPal
was created as a way to send and receive money digitally. This made shopping for goods and
services much easier than they had been in the past. In 2002, Musk and other investors sold
PayPal for more than a billion dollars. In 2004, Musk invested in Tesla, an electric car
company, and eventually became its co-founder and CEO. Today, Tesla is well known
throughout the world for its innovative technology and is one of the world’s most valuable
companies.
