    1. Reason for the Job
    Refer to the MPD TASK: 730000-W1
    CORRECT FAULTS OF THE ENGINE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE REPORT (SMR).

    A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

    B. Preparation for Test
    (1) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
    - Push the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch. The ON legend comes on.

    NOTE: After the FADEC is energized, wait 10 seconds before you start the test. If you do not
    wait 10 seconds, the interactive mode stops the EEC self-test and this can cause
    spurious faults.
    (2) On the left or right Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU), get the SYSTEM REPORT
    /TEST/ENG page Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012.

    A. Do this procedure for the EEC 1(2) Channel A

    NOTE: This test is for the system 1. For the other system(s), use the indications between the
    parentheses.

    ACTION RESULT
    1.On the MCDU: - The EEC 1A (2A) menu comes into view.
    - Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC
    1A (2A) indication.
    2.Push the line key adjacent to the SCHED - The SCHED MAINT REPORT EEC 1A (2A)
    MAINT REPORT indication. menu comes into view.
    - When the test is complete, a NO FAULT
    DETECTION message comes into view.
    - If there are faults, they will come into view.

    NOTE: If one Leg Report shows the same


    CLMs, it is necessary to complete the
    TSM task only one time.
    3.Make a print of the fault messages (number of
    fault pages is shown at the top right hand
    corners.

    NOTE: You must do a maintenance action for each fault.


    (1) Do this procedure for the FADEC 1B (2B).
    (2) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page
    comes into view.
    (3) Stop the MCDU.
    (4) Correct the time limited faults.

    5. Close-up

    A. On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
    (1) Push the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch. The ON legend goes off.
