Being vaccinated would reduce the risk of teachers getting seriously ill. But
even more importantly, vaccinating all teachers and school staff would help lessen the

In preparation for school reopening, extensive planning should be undertaken


to prevent schools from becoming the epicenters of resurging cases in the country. In
instances where face to face learning may be permitted in full or limited capacity by
local government units, there is an urgent need to put in place measures for schools to
safety resume their on- campus operations within a protective home and community
environment as well.
Headed by the School Principal, Ma’am Irene B. Angeles, Sto. Domingo
Elementary School Teachers and Staff together with the stakeholders, talked about
Operational Framework and its four major pillars namely, (a) Safe Operation which

was explained by Sir Archie Alarcon, (b) Teaching and Learning, (c) Including the Most
Marginalized (d) Well Being and Protection were discussed by Ma’am Irene.
Cutting across all the pillars are the policy and finance support to ensure
operational mechanisms are in place. Promoting handwashing activities and
maintaining a safe environment GPTA President Concepcion Santos suggested to
provide portable lavatory and Segregated trash bin in every classroom include office
and ICT room.
The framework effectively engaged the entire school in making sure that the
learners are safe and healthy while attending to face to face classes.
The meeting was then ended ensuring that all the maters that have been
tackled and agreed were fully understood.

learners on March 28, 2022 as it set to participate in the, Implementation of face-to-
face classes.
During the visit of SGOD team headed by Chief Implementation Curriculum,
Ma’am Mila Penaflor, teachers showed their classrooms, hand washing facilities, and
other health and safety protocols for the incoming face-to-face classes.
With proper coordination and participation of SDES teaching staff and
stakeholders, SDES is hereby qualified for the opening of face-to-face class.

Sto. Domingo Elementary School started its simulation of limited face-to-face


classes on March 25, 2022 as it geared up for the eventual return of limited face-to-
face classes amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the looming of threat of its
variant. SDES is among the schools in Bataan to conduct limited face-to-face classes
starting March 28, 2022.
The day started with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of Philippine
National Anthem. School Principal, Ma’am Irene B. Angeles, gave her welcome
message as well as reminders, rules, and policies of the school .Everything was
organized, ready and prepared for the coming opening.

Teachers were observing learning gaps in reading, writing and separation


anxiety of kindergarten and grade one pupils from their parents. Behavioral issues
were observed by the teachers among the learners since

more effective and safe for learners.
With the help of the Local government, Handwashing was
funded, with the amount of P 25, 000. The installation in triage area
was successfully done. And with the initiation of Ma’am Irene B.
Angeles, School Principal II of Sto. Domingo ES. The construction of
Covered Path walk in Kinder and Grade 1 area which cost P49, 770 from
MOOE fund were built.
