LIVING IN VICTORY
2
Matthew 16:26
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more
than your soul?
Let’s look at a man in the Bible named Zacchaeus, an example of someone lost.
I. Zacchaeus’s Background
A. He was a chief tax collector
B. He was very wealthy
C. He wanted to see Jesus
- But there are major obstacles.
Ephesians 2:2
In which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of
the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Because of our sins and disobedience to God, we are now subject to the attack of the devil.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the
full.
The Devil want to steal, to kill and to destroy us, but God wants the best for us.
Our Response
James 5:16
Do you want to be healed?
God gives us two commands in James 5:16
● Confess your sins to one another
● Pray for one another
Healing Pattern
1. Your Part:
● Submit to God
● Confess your Sins
● Repent of your Sins
5
Your Prayer
Heavenly Father, I confess _________ as my sin. I repent of it and I ask You to forgive me. In the name
of Jesus, I repent of all my sins and the sins of my generation. Amen!
2. Partner’s Part:
● Assure forgiveness
● Break bondages
● Extend God’s healing
Partner’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your forgiveness. I pray that You break all the bondages over the life of
my brother/sister. Thank You for Your healing in Jesus’ name. Amen!
…live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (Galatians 5:16)

PRAYER OF SUBMISSION
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Our sexuality is a beautiful gift from God to be kept clean and holy. Our sexuality is a powerful part of
how God has made us. But it often becomes misdirected.
Satan’s Lie
Satan tells us that we must be in the “now”.
Satan will say okay lang na gawin ang mga ginagawa ng iba like “premarital sex” and other sexual sins.
Satan’s goal is to steal your purity and destroy you.
Soul Tie:
Sexual union creates oneness.
Kaya if you enter in premarital sex, hirap mong kalimutan yung tao or lagi mong naiisip yung mga
ginawa niyo.
Our Response
A. We need to surrender it to God.
B. Forgive yourself and that person.
C. Receive healing from God.
Note: Kung mayroong mga bagay na nabigay sa’yo yung tao, magandang sunugin na ang mga ito para
ma-break ang soul tie.
“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that
brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”- Isaiah 53:5
*Jesus died for our sins and for the sins that were made toward us.
1. Tayo ay nabubuhay sa makasalanang mundo. The following are examples of sin that we may have
encountered or may encounter: (Just as how Joseph has experienced in his time from his brothers.)
● Hurting people
● Abandonment
● Abuse or Maltreatment
● Ridicule or Criticism
8
*What is our part to experience Wholeness from Brokeness? We cannot undo the sins that were made
toward us, but we can do something to be healed and be freed. Our part is to FORGIVE.
(Mark 11:25; Luke 11:4; Ephesians 4:32)
“Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.”
(Psalm 106:43)
WHAT IS REBELLION
The action or process of resisting authority.
2. We rebel against…
● God
● Parents
● Teachers
● Church
● Government (President, Barangay, Government Ordinance, etc.)
9
Forms of Rebellion
1. Complaining (Philippians 2:14-15, Exodus 16:8)
2. Judging others
3. Self-righteousness
4. Negative attitude
5. Pride or arrogance
6. Discriminating (Corporate/National)
7. Vandalism
8. Violence
WHAT TO DO:
▪ Ask for God’s forgiveness for all the rebellious actions you have made.
▪ Forgive
▪ Submit to God
What is a curse?
A. Mga masasakit na salita na sinabi sa atin o sinabi natin sa ating sarili.
B. Hindi naibigay na love and commitment.
C. Mga nasabing pangit na pananalita.
Ex.: Hindi ka makakatapos ng pag-aaral, Wala kang kwenta, Ang Panget mo.
The Bible calls us to reverse the flow of curses by blessing those who curse us.
Luke 6:27-28
But I tell everyone who is listening: Love your enemies. Be kind to those who hate you… Bless those
who curse you. Because you were called to inherit a blessing.
Our Response
Forgive those people who cursed you and release blessing to them.
GOD’S BLUEPRINT
(Our Role in Our Family)
Having a strong, loving and godly family is not an option for any believer
We have a responsibility to Christ-centered relationships especially within our own family
1. Our family life should be committed to the Lord Jesus Christ
2. Each member must be committed to provide for the needs of the family (1 Timothy 5:8)
– e.g. Respect, Love and Care
There must be order in our relationships marked by understanding, peace & harmony, growth
and strong bonds
In becoming a part of the church we agree to work toward a common goal and vision. Any two
people attempting to work together with differing goals will certainly end in disaster! In order to build a
building, no matter what the area of our expertise may be, we must ALL have the SAME blueprint!
“There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and
Father of us all…”
“Victory Churches of Asia exists for the glory of God & the expansion of His Kingdom through
evangelism, church planting and missions.”
VISION SPRINGS FROM PURPOSE (Romans 8:28; Proverbs 19:21; Proverbs 20:5)
1. God is a God of Purpose
2. Everything in Life Has A Purpose
3. If You Don’t Know the Purpose of Something You’ll Abuse It
12
2. Discipleship (Teach)
To establish them in the local church, teaching and training them to become like Christ
3. Mobilization (Mobilize)
To mobilize the army of God, to help each person to find his or her place and function in the
Body of Christ.
As becoming a part of this church, it is therefore absolutely imperative that you fully understand,
wholeheartedly agree to, and willingly work at attaining the following specific VCA goals:
