Before adjustment of any part of the VIT sys-
tem, see Volume I, Chapter 706. All adjust-
ments should be based on a set of
observations including a set of indicator dia-
grams taken when the engine is running just
above the breakpoint (90% MCR).

larities that may occur during the running of the
