1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Samsung Group (or simply Samsung, stylised as SΛMSUNG) (Korean: 삼 성 Sam
Seong)。 It is a global South Korean industrial company with its headquarters in Samsung
Town, Seoul, South Korea. It consists of multiple related enterprises, the majority of which
are unified under the Samsung name, and is the biggest chaebol in South Korea (business
conglomerate). As of 2020, Samsung has the eighth greatest brand value worldwide.
Lee Byung Chul launched Samsung in 1938 as a trade enterprise. Insurance, securities, and
retail all followed during the following three decades as a result of the company's continued
expansion. When Samsung first entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s, it quickly
expanded into the construction and shipbuilding sectors as well, which fueled its subsequent
growth. A total of five business groupings were formed after Lee's death in 1987 which is

business, so that they also a means to do a believe with stakeholders, including people,
shareholders, employees and the local community In 2005, Samsung Electronics tell that the
"Samsung Five Business Principles" which served as the basic to the global guidelines of way
to behaving in accordance and the ethical and also legal level and in meeting the social
responsible as a corporate.
First, is Samsung adhering to ethical and legal standards. In conducting its business as
one of the global companies, Samsung strives to always respect the self-esteem and
differences of everyone such as they respect all the primary people rights of all the people.
For example mandatory Labor wage exploitation and little slavery will cant approved with
the circumstances. Therefore, the Samsung company has worked diligently and in a friendly
manner to serve all stakeholders and parties such as customers or employees. Not only that,
Samsung company also compete honestly in accordance with the business ethics and also the
law. For example, The Samsung company has always complied with all the rules that have
been set by other countries as well as the regional community. As such, they are also very
respectful of the rules of market rivarly and they take part in the right. The Samsung
company also does not do things that are not right like breaking the law from bad trading
ethics to get unfair profits. They also do not give or take compensatory gifts, and do not
commit corruption cases or entertain people while conducting business activities. Moreover,
Samsung company also keep a transparent accounting through right accounting records. For
example, to ensure that all certain parties know their business to observe with internationally
applied accounting standards, and accounting regulations of each country, by such case
Samsung company has recorded and managed all transactions accurately. The Samsung
company is transparent with company information as well as key management aspects, such
as financial changes within the company as prescribed by state law. This can encourage cases

company and others. For example, without permission or approval, mental of things and also
private details cannot quit the company. This is because, Samsung Company is deeply respect
the mental things of others and they don’t commit action breaking such as unofficial use,
change of person forging, issue, alteration, and so on. Moreover, it could be a healthy
atmosphere. Samsung companies endangers healthy. Samsung companies also not coterie that
can incompatibility within groups and they also do not organize private groups.
Not only that, Samsung also respects customers, shareholders and employees. In
expressing its commitment to respect customers, shareholders and employees, Samsung gives
the highest priority to customer satisfaction. Samsung has provided things and also services it
can help that needed of customer and also expectations of customers. Not only that, Samsung
companies also have a good behaviour and also friendly in the relationship with all their

vision. So, in my opinion, an organization's leader has used a certain leadership style to
improve the working environment. As a result, Samsung recommends Transformational
Leadership as leadership styles.
One of the finest leadership styles is transformational leadership. This technique involves
motivating employees and changing their charisma and personality. This leadership style is
recommended for Samsung since the company's manager and authority may encourage and
influence its personnel. Enthusiasm is transmitted through this leadership style. Employees
are inspired by their leader's firm. This style promotes a positive and upbeat atmosphere.
Because all workers want to work in a light and healthy atmosphere, they are more focused.
As a result, errors are less likely to occur in a company with this sort of environment. As a
result, it is extremely helpful to the company.
In the past 10 years, Samsung Group has grown rapidly in Korea thanks to its unique
historical and economic background. Especially Samsung Electronics, the largest subsidiary
of the Samsung group. To be a successful company, Samsung needs employees who enjoy
working there and do their best. Managers at Samsung Electronics must continue to motivate
their employees. Motivation is the set of factors that drive, guide, and support people's efforts
to achieve a goal (Williams and McWilliams, 2010, p.255). There are three theories of
motivation. McCleland's theory of learned needs is one of them. The theory is divided into
three motivators. Affiliation, success and power are the three motivators.This is how

and shares to invest into their two department which is called research and development.
Therefore, the department which they invested did assist them to become the leader in
information technology services. In the 1990s,the company has been one of the top
manufacturer and called as top five electronics brand in the world.
As for today, during a pre-show keynote speech at CES 2022, Samsung Electronics
presented its future vision, "Together for Tomorrow." Samsung's Vice Chairman, CEO, and
Head of DX (Device experience) Division, Jong-Hee (JH) Han, spoke about the new era of
the togetherness efforts by the company. Plus, it is also comes with varieties of experiences
that reflect users to evolve their lifestyle and innovations towards their progress for both
society and the planet.
