Fittings
1. Elbow is the bent section of the conduit
or tubing used to change raceway
direction or bypass obstruction.
2. Nipples are short length of conduit or
tubing materials used to extend a conduit
system. Nipples are used between
conduit or tubing and items such as boxes
or enclosures between two boxes.
3. Coupling is a device connecting two
pieces of pipes in order to extend their
length. Each length of IMC is furnished
with coupling on one end, to permit a
joint.
