Research Problem #1 - Artificial Intelligence

Title: The Rise of Artificial Intelligence: A Dilemma between Convenience and Making
Jobs Obsolete.

1. What is the general objective or over-all purpose of the study?


● To study the condition of workers if they are comfortable with the innovation of
technologies, especially using artificial intelligence. We also want to make an awareness
of the companies they are working with. Not only that but also we would like to hear
about others’ opinions of why technologies or AI are convenient in modern days.

2. Determine how serious your chosen problems are.


● As ICT students who are more focused studying technology and innovation, it is serious
because we are now in an age of digital world. Ever since the pandemic started, we use
the internet for our daily leisure. Some people agree that technology has made our life
easier but some may also disagree because it takes their roles and causes them to lose
their jobs.

3. Who will benefit from the research and what direct benefits will they receive from it?
● Those who will benefit from this research are the workers and there will be processing in
which workers will still be doing their job and receive fair treatment. At the same time,
they will be able to use technologies for their work so that they can efficiently finish their
task with minor difficulties.

Research Problem #2 - Educational System


Title: An Analysis of the Impact of the Philippines’ Educational System on the Students

1. What is the general objective or over-all purpose of the study?


● Understanding the current state of our educational system is the major goal of this study.
The educational system here in the Philippines really sucks. We want to conduct this
study so some people, especially our government, become aware of the situation of our
educational system here in the Philippines.
2. Determine how serious your chosen problems are.
● IT IS serious, especially for those students like us. Because education is the most potent
solution to prevent poverty. As you can see, people mostly attend public
schools(government-funded public schools) which are FREE. But there’s a lack of
learning materials, education remains poor(in public schools), teachers are paid poorly,
and many more problems that may encounter.So we can say that this problem is
relevant and serious nowadays.

3. Who will benefit from the research and what direct benefits will they receive from it?
● This study will benefit students, teachers, and those people who works at school,
universities, etc. Because it’s for us. If ever this study would reach out to our
government, who knows, maybe they can change our educational system into a good
one. There’s so many tendencies that may happen.

Research Problem #3 - Poverty


Title: The Uncontrollable Rate of Inflation in the Year 2023 against the Parents of Anonas
Street of Santa Mesa, Manila Towards to Giving Financial Support for their Families

1. What is the general objective or over-all purpose of the study?


● The general objective of this study is to determine the effect of inflation in the parents
that only have stable jobs and enough salary to support their family. We want to know if
their salary is capable of purchasing necessities that a family should have considering
that the prices in this year have risen. We want to know if their budgets have changed
throughout the months because of inflation or they are purchasing less products than
before.

2. Determine how serious your chosen problems are.


● It is serious as not only the area of our study is affected by inflation but also every family
in our country, especially those who are in the line of poverty. The inflation in the country
is increasing faster than the past few years and this affects the necessities of families
when it comes to living properly everyday. The budget in their daily life might now not be
enough for everyone and anyone from the family might have not gotten enough meals.

3. Who will benefit from the research and what direct benefits will they receive from it?
● The families affected by the inflation will benefit from this as they will be now heard by
the government and they will take actions to solve this problem. Workers will also benefit
from this because the minimum wage might increase after this study and this will help
everyone that is suffering from the rise in prices of goods.
