GOLD WINNER

Gold Winner (English : Gold winner) is the brand name of oil produced by
Kalishwari Refinery Private Limited. Various types of oil such as groundnut oil ,
sunflower oil, palm oil, olive oil, vanaspati, soybean oil are sold under the name of
Gold Winner. It has markets
in India , Singapore , Malaysia , Brunei , Kuwait , UAE , Australia , UK and Sri
Lanka.

History:

In the 1970s G. Its history begins with a small grocery store started by Munusamy
Nadar. Later in 1993 he acquired Kalishwari Refinery Pvt Ltd near Chennai and
expanded into a large company. In 2005, it received HACCP (Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Points) certification, which certifies that its oil is free of toxic,
chemical or biological contamination and is valid for 5 years. DUV to its oil
production plant at Vengaivasal near Chennai. Management Services Institute 2000:
ISO 9001 certified. In 2007, the company acquired American fats and oils refining
consultant Robert M. Signed MoU with Pierce. The consultant is expected to suggest
ideas for improving the current product and developing new products.

Materials:

Its major products include 'Gold Winner Sunflower Oil', 'Gold Winner Peanut Oil',
'Gold Winner Vida D3+' - a vitamin D3+ rich cooking oil, Gold Winner Vanaspati' - a
vegetarian oil used as a ghee.

As of the date, we have 23 plants across 10 states in India. In addition, as of March

locations in proximity to end customers, we utilized 28 tolling units across India.

Marico Limited is an Indian multinational consumer goods company providing

History:

Marico Limited was established on 13 October 1988 under the name of Marico Foods
Limited. Later, in 1989 the name of the company was changed from Marico Foods
Limited to Marico Industries Limited.

The first International office for Marico was set up in Dubai in year 1992.

Marico was first listed on Indian stock exchange in 1996.

Marketing:

NRI in the Middle East had been smuggling Parachute oil with them for their daily
use when export of the oil was restricted prior to the 1991 economic liberalisation.
Marico decided to try to sell products in that market after liberalisation, but found out
that the Arab customers did not like the scent of coconut, wanted a less sticky hair
product, and needed a product to counteract the high level of chlorination in their
water. When Marico reformulated its product, its market share in the Middle
East grew from 2% in 2002 to more than 20% by 2008.
