Climographs
Each member of your group has received climate data for a different city in the United States.
1. Plot your data (only 1 city) on the provided blank climograph. **Remember- temp is a line graph, precip is a bar graph**
2. Use the table below to analyze the climate data for your city.
3. Verbally share your data with the other members of your group. (Reading and copying will result in a lower grade)
4. Plot the cites on the provided map of the United States.
5. As a group analyze the data and climograph completed for Santiago.
6. Use the climographs and the chart below to answer the questions on the back of this sheet.

Discussion/Analysis questions
1. Which U.S. city has the smallest temperature range?

2. Looking at the map, does this make sense? Explain why or why not.

3. Seattle and Spokane are only 300 miles apart (~4hrs of driving), yet their climates are very different. What climate factors likely contribute
the most to these differences? (Hint - Based on the average precipitation values for Seattle and Spokane, what can you infer about the
topography between the two cities?)

4. Determine which hemisphere (Northern or Southern) the city of Santiago is located within. Explain how the data supports your claim citing
specific evidence.

5. Which of these five cities would you most want to live in? Justify your decision using the provided climate data.
