2.3. Perform Visual Inspection of Nacelles and Pylons from ground level and through cabin
window for obvious damage, security and fluid leakage.
CAUTION: UNSECURED COWLS CAN LEAD TO IN-FLIGHT COWL VIBRATION AND MAY
CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE ON ENGINES DURING FLIGHT.
2.4. Ensure All the Engine Cowls, especially Fan Cowls, are Securely Locked and Flushed.
3.2. Visually check tires for Wear and Condition (AMM TASK 32-41-00-210-002-A).
NOTE: TO ENSURE THAT AMM LIMIT IS NOT EXCEEDED DURING NEXT DAY’S
OPERATIONS, TIRES SHALL BE REMOVED WHEN ANY TREAD IS WORN
TO LESS THAN 1 MM FROM BASE OF GROOVE.
3.3. Check and service Aircraft Wheel Tires Pressure (AMM TASK 32-41-00-210-003-A). If
possible, do the check when the tires are cold. (AMP 324100-01-1)
As applicable, perform either:
a) When Tires are Cold (approximately 3 hours since last landing), perform tire
pressure check per attached “Cold Tire Pressure Check Sheet” OR
b) When Tires are Hot (less than 3 hours since last landing), perform tire pressure
check per attached “Hot Tire Pressure Check Sheet”.
Record tires pressure in the Tire Pressure Check Sheet.(On Page 8 and 9 )
NOTE: SERVICE TIRES WITH DRY NITROGEN AS NECESSARY.
3.4. Check Main Landing Gear Brakes Heat Pack Wear Indicator with parking brakes applied
(AMM TASK 32-42-27-210-003-A) (AMP 324227-01-1).
If length of brake wear indicator is 1mm (0.04 inch) or less, replace the brake (AMM TASK
32-42-27-000-001-A/32-42-27-400-001-A).
NOTE: When the length is 1 mm (0.04 in.) or less, we recommend that you do the
check when the brake is cold (brake temperature less than 60 deg.C (140.00
deg.F)). This will give a more accurate measurement and prevent the removal
