    INTRODUCTION

    The effects of using social media among Grade 11 students at PCC SY 2033 can be a relevant

    and interesting topic for research. Here are some potential points that could be included in the

    introduction of such a study: - social media has become a ubiquitous part of modern life, with

    billions of people using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to communicate,

    share information, and consume media. - While social media can have many benefits, such as

    connecting people across distances and providing opportunities for self-expression and creativity,

    it can also have negative effects, especially on young people who are still developing their

    identities and social skills. - Previous research has shown that excessive use of social media can

    lead to negative outcomes such as lower self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and poorer academic

    performance. - The effects of social media use may be particularly pronounced among Grade 11

    students, who are transitioning from adolescence to young adulthood and may be experiencing a

    range of developmental challenges and stressors. - PCC SY 2033 is a unique setting in which to

    explore the effects of social media use, as it represents a specific cohort of students who share

    common experiences and contexts. - By investigating the effects of social media use among

    Grade 11 students at PCC SY 2033, we can gain insights into the ways in which social media

    impacts young people's lives, and potentially identify strategies for promoting healthy and

    positive social media habits.


    ABSTRACT

    Social networking has become a common international trend which has spread its reach to almost

    every corner of the world. The use of social media sites have exploded and evolved into an

    online platform where people create content, share it, bookmark it and network at a prodigious

    rate. Among the prominent users of the social media are the students
